It is just as advertised, a big beefy ,sturdy ,extra high chair. Seat on mine measures 30" from floor. Not so easy to assemble. Study the directions first. I needed a needle nose vise grip to align holes and hold in place. Did not like how the seat has to be attached. You need to position the seat and drill the screws in. No reference point so you have to be extra careful to get seat centered. Make sure you lock-tite the bolts. I found it worked better to leave all the bolts loose until they were all in. Two people make the job much easier. I found it easiest to work from a bench. It would have been much harder to have had to work off the floor. Have been using hard about two months. No complaints. Nice product for the price. Perfect for the bar/counter in my apartment and goes well with my "Hollywood Regency"-style decor. It's pretty easy to setup and the stools are very sturdy with large, comfy seating. My only concern/gripe is that the cushions contain the Prop 65 warning ("product contains chemical known to cause cancer in the state of California); had I known this in advance, I'm not sure I would've bought it. ... show more

After using less sturdy bar stools over the years we really wanted something to stand up to a bit of abuse in a new home. These stools fit the bill. I painted and reupholstered them before putting them together. I am pretty happy with them but sure didn't visualize the birtha of them. They make my chairs look like miniatures 🤷♀️ Definitely worth the price paid and reccomend them!
