This couch is absolutely beautiful. It is firm but not uncomfortable, which I like, but may deter others who prefer soft, sink-into-the-cushion type couches from purchasing. It seems to be sturdy enough for my needs as I do not spend too much time in my living room (only when company visits) and do not have any children. It was easy to put together, though the one sheet instruction page that is included in the box is absolutely terrible and I figured out assembly mostly on my own. Though I love the couch and it brings new life to my room, I must state that shipping was entirely too slow for me. I am in the process of moving and the delivery of this couch slowed the entire process down. I ordered the couch on November 26 and it was not delivered until December 11th. The shipping company was Radiant Global Logistics. Upon taking the couch out of the packaging and after assembly, I noticed small stains on the couch, however, they wiped away easily with a wet paper towel. I would recommend this couch to anyone wishing to add some modern decor to their home. It is beautiful and chic! NOTE: sit something underneath anyone wearing jeans, as the dye from the jeans may rub off on the couch and it is a pain to clean. ... show more

Brilliant couch for the price esp. for a small to mid size apartment. Pros: 1.Looks beautiful and contemporary (off white washable PU) 2.Easy to assemble (would need a drill for additional leg screws) 3.Well built (very few creaks and noises) 4.Compact but seats four easily (great if you have a smaller apartment or are renting) Cons: 1. Easy to stain or get dirty (can be cleaned off with a wet wipe though) 2. Not the highest quality and no premium materials or craftsmanship found around (but you can't honestly expect it for even twice this price) 3. Is slightly firmer than I'd like it (not uncomfortable though and the foam might soften with usage) To summarize if you have only a grand to spend on a modern sofa, this is the best you'll do (and for 40% less). ... show more

    • Good looking; feels good, easy assembly and great delivery.
The sofa arrived in two BIG boxes (I could fit coffin inside each one of them) but they go thru pretty much any regular size door sideways; excellent delivery service. It's not 100% white as some claim (more like a 90% white, 10% cream), is like an off white tending to the cream color but on the white side (not too creamy). I've assembled it in less than 20 minutes, it does come with the necessary tools to do so but I've used my own so, it might take you an extra 10 more minutes to assemble it; If I had had an Allen drill bit (for my drill), It could have been assembled in probably less than 10 minutes. Is very stable, not too soft, not too hard. Gives the look of a 2500 dollars couch for a looooottttt less. Excellent so far. It was packaged well enough so if you see any holes on the boxes when receiving it, DO pay a lot of attention to it since damage probably have occurred. It's gonna be positioned right by a floor to ceiling window that will have some Miami sun every day so I will update if the color changes at all on it. ... show more

After numerous online searches, checking all reviews, and visiting local stores with a similar product, I decided to purchase my Poundex sofa via HomeGoods Mania, an Amazon seller. I truly believed that I did all of the necessary research before purchasing this sofa. Well, after a mere 4+ months a portion of the frame actually broke. It is a section where the rear-left leg is mounted to a block, which is stapled to the frame. Yes, I said stapled! Actually, the entire frame of the sofa appears to be stapled... I decided to locate a reputable furniture repair service to evaluate the issue and determine corrective action. As you can see from the attached photos, the wood used for the frame only appears to be a couple of grades above plywood. Let’s be clear, for this price point, I was not expecting a high-end product but I certainly did not anticipate receiving a “piece of crap” covered in fabric. I am truly, truly disappointed with this product!. I am sharing these photos so each person contemplating this purchase has the opportunity to see EXACTLY what they are getting. For the record, I do not have small or teenage children, pets or anyone who is extraordinarily large in my household. I am only adding this information to proactively address, and refute, any possibility that the damage was caused by anyone in my home, due to negligence and/or misuse. That is absolutely NOT the case; the product is just substandard... NOTE: The four (4) holes, seen in the square block of wood, are for the screws needed to mount the metal leg. In addition to the substandard frame, the sofa was delivered with a small puncture in the chaise (see photo). Third, the sofa is supposed to be a sectional and should have included some type of bracket to fasten the two pieces together…no such luck. There was no fastener included with the delivery, and there is nothing on the bottom of these sofas to indicate there should be a fastener/bracket. Last, when you order large items i.e. furniture, transportation companies typically delivery curbside. Also, if you want to return these items, be certain that you read the shipper’s guidelines for merchandise returns. There is a great chance that you will be charged a restocking fee, and return shipping charges may apply. Something to keep in mind when making a decision to purchase furniture online… Moral of "MY" story: 1) You really do get what you pay for. 2) Avoid purchasing furniture online, if at all possible! 3) Research, research and RESEARCH again before buying. 4) Paying more for true quality, upfront, may hurt a little but it will feel really good end the end!!! The reviews on this couch made us give it a try. My wife and I were a bit concerned about buying a couch online without sitting in it first. We have a baby and 2 cats and were wondering if it was going to get destroyed fast. We could not be happier with our purchase, and here's why. Pros: Affordable price compared to other sectionals, very easy to clean, extremely comfortable ( on the harder side which makes it feel good on your body, not like the ones you sink in without any back support), it is compact but fits several people at the same time. It is beautiful. We have gotten many compliments on how comfortable and pretty it is. Our cats are not interested in clawing on it, compared to our other couches which are completely destroyed now. Cons: There is a light odor of the material. However, every new piece of furniture comes with a smell initially. This one is barely noticeable and airs out fast. ... show more

Let's just start with how fast the shipping was! I order it on Jan 18, the next day they shipped the couch to me, and I was expecting it between Jan 25th - February 9. So I got a call Jan 25, inform me that couch is been delivered to IL, and wanted to schedule an appointment. They could get it to me Jan 27, just a week and 2 days after I order it, but I couldn't due to my work schedule. So today I got it. Delivery was great, no damage was made to my couch. We opened it and it's beautiful. The color is not Snow White, but not creme either!! So it's not standing out of my Snow White bed. It is very easy to as amble and the look is great, very luxury and please to look at it and sit on it. To my design it fits just great. I am so happy with the purchase. It's not expensive but the service and the quality is 5/5!!! I would suggest my friends this company and this couch! Will look out for the products from you guys! Thank you!!!! ... show more

I generally never review products on Amazon but I genuinely felt like leaving Homegoods Mania a review because I appreciate good customer service. I had purchased the couch for my new apartment and I loved the modern design, however, I started noticing a tear on the chaise section and it felt like the couch wasn't complete because the padding was extremely poor. On top of that, it didn't come with the screws required to attach the legs to the couch itself. When Homegoods Mania gave me a courtesy call to see how the couch is, I made them aware of the problems and sure enough, they immediately sent out an entirely new couch and had the delivery guys take the old one back. This process took two weeks since I didn't have too many days off that corresponded to the freight delivery schedule. Overall, I love the new couch as it's much more plush than the first one and isn't any sign of wear and tear on it after a month of using it. It also looks great in my new apartment! ... show more

    • Nice Sectional, But Low in Height
The sectional looks nice. However, the metal legs are short, so that the sectional sits about 3" lower to the ground than does your standard sofa or chair. The result is that I, as a 6' foot man, sit with my knees not going straight out, but rather in a sort of V shape, with my knees coming up from the floor. The seat height would be fine for someone shorter. This would seem to be an easy problem to solve by the maufacturer. Also, one of the holes in the sofa in which to install a leg is defective - the screw only goes in about 1/3 of the way. I assume I can solve this by drilling a hole in a different part of the frame. All in all, a nice looking sectional - which could use a bit more in the quality control department. ... show more
