  • Great toy - well worth the price
This toy has two major things going for it: One - it's cheap - under $10...Two: it's sesame street. It's basically a smaller version of the foam mats you would buy for your floor - a much smaller version, and the pieces don't meet perfectly in the corners. Each puzzle piece is about 4"x4". If you have little little ones (under the recommended age) - be careful when unpackaging this. Some corner bits are still slightly attached & as you pull it out a few small pieces will fall (they're just remnants really - but theyr'e super tiny - basically the perfect size for a toddler to try & eat - and choke on...they're about the size of a nickel, only square - and thick foam). My son is 20mths. I figured it's foam - even if it says 2+ on it - it's foam...not much a toddler can do to hurt himself with that. Well I think I know why it says 2+ - the teething side of things. My son was teething hardcore when these first arrived & I had to take them away that night - he was chewing on them like crazy. They're the perfect size for a teething toddler to try & gnaw on...and I think the top layer will easily chip off here (& I doubt that's too healthy for them to ingest). But no big deal - he's done with the current teething so he's back to playing with these. One weird thing - the colors you get are kinda strange...mostly a semi-even mix of blue, yellow, red & green - then I got one orange one...thought that was a bit odd...not sure if they're all the same or mixed (I would assume they're the same for production purposes, but I have no idea). Ultimately - for under $10 - you really can't go wrong with this one. ... show more

  • My son's favorite toy.
You never know what toy is going to be the "it toy" for your child. For my 16 month old, this floor puzzle is it. He plays with it everyday. We help him fit the pieces together or build them into cubes for him to stack. The puzzle is kept in a drawer which my son can easily access. He takes the pieces out, puts them away, looks at the characters and sorts through them to find his favorite pictures on his own. We received the first puzzle as a hand me down and purchased a second one since he's so into it. Now we can build even more cubes! For those complaining about the size...it clearly states the pieces are 4"x4". This is not the foam puzzle you buy to use as a floor cover or area rug. The fact that it's not the size you want does not make the product worthy of low star ratings. ... show more

  • Good small floor puzzle
Read the size. It's small, it is not big enough to cover a floor like most foam floor pieces. My fault for not reading the size, not the company's fault. But they are more durable than other foam floors that we have.

  • Great for the Price, Especially if Your Little One Loves Sesame Street
My 2 year old son is a Sesame Street fanatic and he loves this puzzle. The pieces are all identical sizes so they can fit together in any order, making it great for little ones just getting used to puzzles. The pieces are thick and sturdy, and can also be put together to make cubes to stack. Each piece has a letter and accompanying picture depicting a word that starts with that letter (Elmo and Cookie Monster get top billing in the number of appearances), a fun and inexpensive learning toy! ... show more

  • Small, but has potential
PROS: There are a lot of ways you can hook the pieces together which can be fun. I like to make a big alphabet line for my daughter to walk along as we sing the ABCs. Making blocks with the letters is fun too, although it isn't very sturdy. I really like that each piece has a picture with it too and isn't strictly letters. They keep my daughter's attention better. CONS: Small, small, small. These would be awesome if they were 3 times the size they are. I don't know if I would have bought these if I had realized how small they really are. ... show more

  • So worth the money!!
This puzzle far exceeded my expectations! My 20 month old went from sort of knowing his letters to knowing the complete alphabet in 2 days. And we have moved on to actual words now. He is in love with this puzzle and can play with it for a really long time. All of the letters fit into eachother which makes it great for spelling words. Everything in our house recites the alphabet, but this has been the best learning tool we have had! Highly recommend!!! ... show more

  • Waste of money! This is TINY
I put a (0-6 month) pacifier on the red square to size it in a picture. The mat is not flush throughout. If you run your hand across it you will feel edges and gaps. This would not be comfortable to sit/lay on at all. I bought this for my three month old daughter; Ill add a real mat to my Walmart pick up order instead. This product picture is very misleading and super disappointing a brand as big as Sesame Street would pull something like this. ... show more
