This is a really good kit. The fake skin it comes with is thick enough that you can use it front and back. The tattoo needles that come with it are a good range of beginner sizes. The ink is pretty vibrant on the fake skin as well. The two batteries are really nice and high quality and the machine itself is sleek and feels good in my hand. The blue soap smells amazing, obviously, and the foam bottle it comes with works correctly and pumps a good amount of blue soap out with each pump. The ink cups have a good range of sizes as well. All in all, this is definitely something that I really enjoyed playing around with and seems to be a pretty good all inclusive kit if youre interested in dipping your toes into the tattoo world

Love this tattoo pen! The motor is a quiet hum. I used it for an hour and my hand did not have that tired feeling from vibration. It comes with everything you need to start practicing except the stencil gel. The one thing this company thought of was giving you not 1 but 2 3mm thick practice skins. This gives you that feel of practicing needle depth on real skin. The needles were easy to get in and out of the pen. The grip on the needles helped a lot. Speaking of needles, I had minimum issues with them. No clogging, no catching, some pooling but I figured out how to eliminate that. I have tried a variety of different pens and this one has made it to the top of my list.

I have a few machines within this price range. Performance wise this is on par with the others, including one that is in the $170 ish range. I live the dynamic yellow it has. Gives it cool character. This one definitely has a nicer screen than all my others. Its high quality, clear and looks great. This will be one of my go to pen machines from here on out, I love it.

This kit is a great entry point for anyone starting out with tattooing. The machine feels well-balanced in hand, with a smooth operation and surprisingly good battery life. The inclusion of two batteries is a real plus so you’re not stuck mid-session. The cartridges are decent quality, and the machine has handled different skin types and fake skin well. This is honestly one of the most beginner friendly kits I’ve seen on the market. Comes with a variety of cartridges, gloves, big black ink and smaller colored ink, ink cups, dental bibs, fake skins, transfer paper, stencils, a marker, 2 batteries and the machine. I think the only thing it’s missing is a little more detailed instructions or explanation on the dotting setting and the different mode functions. Poseidon is a great beginner friendly company and I love the adjustable stroke and zero vibrations in the machine. It’s so quiet and very lightweight to hold and not overly bulky. Still learning the different functions so will update when I do.
