This fan solved the problem we had in our new house that does not have a range hood that vents to the outside. The range hood just blows cooking steam and grease on the cabinets above. I couldn't get a photo to show how this fan sucks the cooking steam into the mesh screen, but it really does. The grease catcher is easy to clean and remove. Sometimes it is half full. We have not had to wash our upper cabinets in the weeks since we bought it, and we were having to wash them down at least once a week. I do a lot of stir frying and this works great. Only wish I'd bought this earlier.

I love to cook meat and regular ventilation is not relaible. But this small range hood can almost remove all smell and fog on my kitchen. At the same time its quite and effective. I recommend this thing if you want to keep your kitchen odor-free. In the set I got extra filters. I prefer don’t use carbone filter for maximum productivity.

True to the product description, the Breetee portable range hood is a standalone fan that can be effectively used in place of a fixed overhead vent fan.. Examples of this may be found in recreational vehicles or kitchens where venting to the building exterior is not practical. I utilized the Breetee range hood adjacent to an induction cooktop. The design is unique and the construction is high quality. It is operated easily with two buttons for on/off and fan speed. Very stable, it can be located where needed. Relatively quiet, the sound produced primarily comes from air movement, not motor vibration. Air moves through a carbon filter and a removable bin collects any oil produced. The fit and finish of this fan are high quality and the profile is compact. Operation is simple and clearly described in a well written user manual. With three months use, I particularly appreciate the circular dispersion of air from the rear of the fan. My only concern is that the user manual did not provide warranty information, though the quality construction feel suggests a trouble-free useful life. Also, I was unable to find a source of replacement carbon filters. The carbon filter cannot be washed, only replaced. If fixed venting is not feasible or adequate, the Breetee portable range hood is a well designed solution.

The media could not be loaded. I’m really impressed with this portable kitchen hood! Despite its compact size, it does an amazing job at removing smoke and odors from my kitchen. It works just as well as larger, stationary hoods but without the noise. Unlike most other exhaust fans, this one operates quietly, so cooking is much more pleasant. Now, I don’t have to worry about smoke or lingering food smells in the kitchen. Highly recommend it!
