This works as I expected based on reviews here and from The Wirecutter, where it’s the top pick. I found the middle of the 3 speed settings the most comfortable without being too loud. Pros: it provides good cooling for my neck and face and helps all of me feel cool. The middle setting in particular is a good compromise between cooling and not being too loud. It lasts most of the day at thst setting before needing to recharge. Since I often work with a fan in me and my large screen tablet blocks thst fan from reaching my face and neck, this is a good addition to my arsenal of cooling products and it allows me to keep working, not needing me to hold it as my handheld misting fan does. Cons: it’s fairly heavy and would,be annoying around my neck if I were being active, rubbing my neck if I am doing more vigorous housework. I’d still use it but it would irritate. The highest speed is fairly noisy and it can be heard in a call or onscreen meeting. It also dries my eyes out, something I hadn’t considered when I bought it and as I wear contacts this is irritating. It also takes a long time to recharge, hours longer than I expected. I was expecting to take about 2 hours or less and it took about 7 hours. I’d buy it again with those caveats given that I don’t have air conditioning but it does have drawbacks.

I gave this as a gift for my wife who is undergoing “The Change” and is frequently experiencing hot flashes. Rather than constantly adjusting the thermostat to suit her “temperature of the moment” I got her this neck fan and she was so grateful. She can now slip it on and cool down whenever and wherever. It’s great for the office or at home (she usually blasts the A/C in her car so no need to wear the fan then!). She told me to tell you that if you or someone you know is having hot flashes, they need this neck fan. It is lightweight, very portable, discrete and feels well-built and designed to last. It also has several speeds to accommodate the rate of cooling she needs at any given time.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Worked well until it barely didn’t. Doesn’t hold any sort of charge now unfortunately and if it blows air it’s not strong and will shut off after a few minutes. Don’t waste your money. I just bought two for one at Costco with the better brand jisulife.

Bought this for my family member who drives a school bus and he said it works great a d the battery life is amazing on them. The size of them fit most necks and will adjust a little bit for bigger necks. Speed is great on them and kepps you cool for most of the time.

Quite a decent neck fan, at half speed it lasts almost a full shift at work and keeps air circulating around my head so I don't overheat while doing soldering. Add an under-shirt waist fan and I am comfortable soldering on a hot plate all day long. I have also used this while mining in the desert, and it helped keep me cool in that situation as well. Cons: Vents could be angled a bit better. Battery life could be better so the fan can run a full work shift at full speed. Pros: Lightweight, unobtrusive, tends to stay balanced around your neck and shoulders.
