Concierge PT Must *gifted*
Size: Standard Color: Black
I have been practicing as a concierge PT for nearly 2y now, split between working in others' homes and my own home office. While I have had other, larger, more cushioned, wooden based travel tables, I've been pleasantly surprised by this table, especially in regards to its ease of use, adjustability and light weight. It has been especially welcome as I'm pregnant with #2, making schlepping a big table around much less desirable, not to mention the space saved in my 1, soon to be 2 carseat car. PROS: smaller, lighter, thinner and easier to set up! The size (folded in bag) is similar to some crash pads I've carried on my back and fits through a doorway while still worn as a backpack. While fully open it is smaller and more easily fit in the homes I visit to treat individuals. The bag is quite sturdy- I love how thick the walls and reinforcement is along the zippers and body of the case. The legs are easy to set up, quick to tear down, and the upholstery fabric feels sturdy. It is also very fast to adjust the table height- just like a walker or cane and I LOVE it. No more screwing/unscrewing for ages to get it just right. I LOVE how much lighter it is, and how much easier it fits in my back seat of my car than my standard travel wooden table. CONS: aesthetically metal folding legs will never look as polished as wood (but I do not care). The zipper on my bag is stitched too close to the zipper itself in 1 spot and catches regularly, requiring some futzing. The reinforcement on the strap to the body of the bag (both shoulder strap and backpack straps) are not as sturdy as I would like and I could see this being the first breakdown point. The manufacturer has already noted they are working on the issues with the bags. The dimensions of the table are narrow and a little shorter than some other tables on the market but the clientele I treat all fit within this range so depending on who you use this for, it may not matter as it does not matter for me (in fact it is a plus for me). The padding on this table is a little firm/wanting but I have not had a client complain about it at all and find it tolerable. Summary: With a few minor cons, I feel very happy with this table and would have happily paid full price, especially now that I've used it for a couple weeks. I love the size, how much easier it is to load, transport, set up, tear down, and have been pleased with the aesthetics. The cons that are present are truly not issues for me at this time or have been addressed by the manufacturer. I highly recommend this table especially for those of you looking for maximum portability, ease of set up/tear down, and what appears to be good longevity for a table. my pictures will not load but I will try again later! ... show more

As a physical therapist constantly on the move, the Dr. Lomilomi Ultra-Light Travel Sized Aluminum Portable Massage Table has been a game-changer for my practice. Its ultra-light design is a standout feature, making it incredibly easy to transport. Whether I'm visiting patients' homes or moving between clinic locations, the table's lightweight construction saves me a lot of effort and hassle. Despite its light weight, this massage table doesn't compromise on sturdiness. It's robust and well-built, providing a stable platform for my patients. I've received numerous compliments from them about the comfort it offers during treatments. The padding is just right – firm enough to provide the necessary support, yet soft enough to ensure comfort during longer sessions. Another major plus is its compact size when folded. It fits perfectly in the trunk of my car, leaving plenty of room for other equipment. Setting it up and taking it down is quick and straightforward, which is crucial when time is of the essence. In summary, the Dr. Lomilomi Ultra-Light Travel Sized Aluminum Portable Massage Table is an excellent choice for any mobile therapist. Its combination of lightweight portability, comfort, and sturdiness makes it an invaluable asset to my practice. Highly recommended! ... show more

Sturdy, Lightweight, and Easy to Maneuver
Size: Standard Color: Black
This table is exceptionally easy to maneuver, with setup time taking me less than a minute. Its lightweight aluminum frame is sturdy and doesn’t produce the creaking noises that my wooden table makes with the slightest movement. The table feels solid, and the adjustable headrest cradle is comfortable and easy to adjust. I love that the carrying case offers several carrying options, including a shoulder strap and backpack-style straps making it easy to transport. The adjustable height feature is a nice touch, accommodating patients of varying heights with ease. While this table has many positives, there are a few changes that could make it my top choice. The table is a bit narrow; at 5'10" and 140 lbs, my arms do not comfortably rest on the table (though arm extensions may resolve this issue, I did not purchase them). Alternatively, the arm sling works wonders for my larger patients but does require additional setup time. The removable cushion from the face hole in the center of the table is not as secure as I would like. Somehow, I managed to knock it out of place, causing my elbow to slip through the hole. Overall, this table offers excellent maneuverability, sturdiness, and comfort, with a few minor areas for improvement. ... show more

Positives - stable enough for patients/clients to feel safe lying on table. I have tried other brands that are "creaky" with transitions, which does not inspire confidence that the table will hold. No such issues with this table! table is light, making it easy for transport. I have tried other brands that are heavier and clunkier, making it a challenge to transport in/out of the car and set up in a confined space. No such issues with this table! feels "very comfortable" as reported by patients/clients. Previous brands were too wobbly and the padding was too firm/rigid. No such issues with this table! carrying bag is a great addition for transport and also holds all accessories. Previous brands had a cheap material carrying bag that ripped after a couple of uses. This carrying bag is heavy duty material that feels like it will last as long as the table! head rest is very comfortable/supportive Negative? The table is a bit narrow, makes it a little more challenging for larger framed individuals to transition positions ... show more
