Ideal for Sous-vide, poaching, slow cooking, simmering, keeping warm, and tasks like melting chocolate and butter.
  • Versatile 10-Power LevelsInduction cooktop has ten adjustable power levels (100W~1200w) that perfect for daily cooking. It can handle various cooking tasks, from melting to boiling, from basic meals to holiday cooking, making it a versatile addition to any kitchen.

It's also equipped with multiple safety protections, so even if you forget, it will automatically turn off at the end of the set cooking time. When pot is removed from the cooktop it will stop heating immediately.
  • PortableThis countertop burner is just 0.9 inches thick and weighs a mere 5.77 pounds, offering both energy efficiency and portability. It's perfect for daily use and ideal for RVs, apartments, dorms, cabins, and camping due to its safety features.

  • No Complaints So Far
The media could not be loaded. I have been thinking about getting an induction burner for some time and the slim profile and while color of this one really appealed to me. I had understood that it was similar to gas cooking in the speed at which the surface heated and stopped delivering heat; with this induction burner I found that it is true. Within a couple of minutes, I had oil hot enough to sauté pieces of chicken tenderloin. The meat stopped cooking almost as soon as I hit the power button. The surface remained hot for a few minutes while the fan continued to run; however, it did not seem overly long before the “H” indicator turned off (a few minutes) and I could touch the surface without burning myself. The chicken I cooked was for a pasta dish and I didn’t have an induction saucepan, so I had a real-world experience comparing induction versus my electric coil burner. The electric coil is much more difficult to control from a temperature perspective. It also doesn’t heat the food as quickly. I may need to buy some new saucepans soon. I found the controls of the induction cook top intuitive, although I had to refer to the instructions to remember to touch the pause button twice to restart the cooking. The touch sensitivity is very responsive. One thing that is different is that the cooking temperature is given in wattage. There is a handy chart in the Instruction Manual that explains the wattage that is used for different types of cooking; however, I found that I needed a much lower setting for sautéing chicken than was recommended, so experimentation will be key. I am very curious what happened to 500: the scale jumps from 600 to 400 and all the other 100-watt increments are there (the manual indicates that this is correct). I was not happy with the sticker that was affixed to the surface warning that magnetic cookware is required for cooking on an induction burner. The sticker did not peel off cleanly and left some gummy residue behind but that did clean easily with some glass cleaner. The cook top is also easy to clean after cooking, being a large sheet of glass. It does not seem fragile, but well-built and solid on its non-slip feet. It can be stored in a shallow drawer if it is wide or deep enough. I use my video to show 1) how responsive the touch panel is, 2) how quiet the fan is, and 3) various functions: power on; that the first temperature after turning the burner on is 800; the “increase temperature” or + button; the “boost” button to jump to 1200 (max); the “decrease temperature" or – button and increments (where’s 500?); pausing the heat; turning the heat back on with 2 taps (three paused it again, and 2 taps turns the heat on again); the timer mode which will turn the heat off after the time runs out; the “error” mode that blinks if there is no pot or a pot alignment error; and turning the device off, along with the fan noise. Note, if the surface is hot, the fan will continue to run until the device is cooled sufficiently. Not shown are the child lock and keep warm features. The device will also power itself off after 30 minutes “if there is no operation.” I don’t have a lot of experience with the induction burner, but I can tell that it will be more enjoyable to use than my standard burners, take less time, and generate less heat. So far I have no complaints about the way it works. I have noticed complaints about noisy fans for other models when I was comparison shopping, but I find this one is relatively quiet (I couldn’t hear the fan over the sizzling pan, for example). I would recommend this model based on my limited experience. ... show more

  • Not UL listed
I wanted a portable induction cooktop for use on our BBQ island, so I ordered this model from 'Single Homie'. It packs 1200W of cooking power into a glass top package that's just 12" x 14 1/2" and less than 1" thick. It has a 6 3/4" heating zone with 10 evenly distributed power levels from 100W to 1000W that provide good temperature control across the range, and a 1200W "burst" mode that gives maximum power for 5 minutes. Additional functions include a child lock, a keep-warm function, and a 2h cooking timer. The unit includes a basic instruction manual and a metal razor blade scraper. The scraper was shipped by the manufacturer with an exposed razor blade and I was lucky I didn't cut myself unpacking it. The label on the unit says it's good for 6 to 10" pans but it works best with 6-8" pans because the heat is concentrated in a 6" circle. I tested a number of flat bottom pans with 4" to 9" bases and no matter which pan I used water was boiling in just a couple of minutes. One thing I experienced while testing this cooktop is that water can superheat and flash-boil just like in a microwave oven. If you're boiling water use a high walled pan and agitate the water a bit as it's coming to a boil to avoid flash boiling. All in all this induction cooktop exceeds expectations. It works well, it's quiet, and it's powerful enough to flash-boil water. However, like many off-brand appliances sold on Amazon this unit lacks any sort of UL or ETL safety certification, so buyer beware. ... show more

  • Very sleek, much thinner than most induction cook tops available.
I’ve become a bit of an induction cooking geek. I used to prefer a gas range because you get practically instant heat and when you turn it off, it is off. I always thought that a gas range would boil water quicker than an electric coil. Then I discovered induction cooking. The induction coil “makes” the heat right inside the metal of the pan. The alternating magnetic currents induce the heating directly into the pan. You get very little waste heat unlike a gas burner. This really helps in the summer because you don’t get all the flame exhaust discharged into your room. In my experience, an induction burner will build water just as fast as a gas burner. So here’s what I like about this one: Very thin, space saving design. This burner is about 1/2 the thickness of other induction burners I own. It makes this very convenient to store when not in use. Also, I love the clean glass top the covers the entire burner. Even the buttons are just a continuation of the glass top. Even if you boil something over or spill it, cleanup is a breeze. No nooks or crannies to get things out of, just a beautiful sheet of glass. This burner even comes with a razor blade scraper to help cleanup if you need it. The burner has 11 power settings from 100W (very low heat) to 1200W for rapidly boiling water. There is a keep warm button, a pause button and a “boost button” which give you the maximum power of the unit. All the power settings in-between are selected using the + and - buttons. I really have only 1 criticism about this burner. It’s rated at a maximum of 1200W. Many other countertop burners like this will go up to 1800W. I assume that is a trade off between higher power and smaller, more compact unit. For many people, the smaller size will be worth the reduction in power. It will still cook things quickly, even an 1200W. ... show more
