EDIT: i didn't bother to try and get a refund due to throw printed policy. THEY reached out to ME. They offered immediate resolutions. I had to come back, edit my review, and recommend the seller to others. Not because i was asked to but because this level of customer service warrants it. Got it to store video in editing. It was fantastic at first and now 3 months later doesn't work at all. Glad i didn't factory reset my laptop yet. I'm also outside of the return window so that sucks 😕 pictures to show that hasn't been dropped or handled roughly

Okay so I ordered 2 of these items and straight out if the box I hooked em up to my low end (2013) pc and my equally low end xbox one console. To test em out I downloaded Batman Arkham Origins ( from Gog.com) straight to the yotuo on my pc and it took a bit to allocate disk space but once it got going it ran fine- until near the end when the connection dropped. I figured, maybe it was my internet so I rebooted and it picked up where it left off. Within minutes I was gaming away on Batman Arkham origins and its been running perfectly (knock on wood) so I installed Hitman Absolution (Gog.com) and this time I had no drops and it also is running perfectly. Now... I decided to install Hitman 2 on my Xbox one with all the DLC. On the last bit of DLC it dropped. So I figured, hard reset time and again it picked right up and everything went smooth. As of this writing I am downloading Alien: Dark Descent on my Xbox one and everything seems good. So there you have it. There seems to be some birthing pains out of the box but it does what it says it does. One thing I noted: these guys get HOT. I rigged two small fans next to them to keep them cool and this seems to work. Now we'll just see how long they last but for now- easy 4 stars. I'll update if anything else happens in the near future.

YOTUO External Hard Drive I recently purchased the YOTUO external hard drive, and I have to say, it's been a great addition to my tech setup. This drive is truly plug-and-play for most situations, making it incredibly user-friendly. I did come across a video where someone gave it a one-star rating when he plugged it into his game console, but I believe that was due to not following some simple additional steps. For instance, as a Mac user, I needed to partition the hard drive, which took me less than a minute. Once that was done, it worked flawlessly. Overall, I highly recommend this affordable hard drive for reliable storage. It offers excellent value for the price!
