First thing you'll say when you see it is that it's a tiny heater...I mean, small but I think it puts out a great heat for a tiny, personal heater. It keeps a room approximately 10x10 warm on it's own. It'll cut off if knocked over or just uneven in some cases. The control is...not there, really. I don't think there's a difference between high and low fan. The temperature control is guess work...all the way on is...what, 80 degrees? Halfway, 60 degrees? So, yeah...if you have the temp. control halfway....it'll come on when it gets that cold, so to speak. ... show more

I have had this space heater for about 2 years and still works like new. It may be too big to take into an office but it is good for at home. It’s safety feature will make this device turn off if it is not on a flat surface or tips over. This gives me peace of mind when using.     • Hot and cold at same time.
The thermostat is far from the best. The first one definitely had a problem as the safety button would not disengage so unit would only turn on when hitting it on the floor a few times. The replacement is passable but the range of the thermostat is far off. Once it engages it will go 10 plus degrees above what it's set for. Another words, if you set it to about 68 it doesnt shut off until 79 then does not kick back on until it 59 degrees. When it runs on the low setting the left 1/2 of the heater blows ice cold air while the right blows hot. Why they didnt intermixed the heating element so when functioning on the low watts it distributes a more even heat rather then cold air coming out of 50% of the unit. I cant run it at full heat as electric is limited on 30 amp service and I run 2 heater at once on very cold days. I feel there is more electricity being wasted due to the placement of the elements in this unit. ... show more

I purchased a similar product several years ago and it was making noises on start up so I thought I would purchase a backup just in case. I am satisfied with the product however it appears it was a display model or a return by another customer, or just opened by someone. The cord was not secured. The OEM tag was just placed in the box and not attached to the unit. The unit was in a plastic bag and not secured as a new product would be. The box was slightly damaged near the closure tongue which showed repeated openings. Although the heater did work I am disappointed that it is obviously not "new" as the manufacturer had presented it to the seller. If this were a more expensive item I may have returned it not knowing why it appeared used. Just a caution notice to Amazon buyers about this seller "GiveBest Store. An explanation of why it was opened and appeared used would go a long way. ... show more

All the reviews that said how hot this little heater gets were true and I'm glad I listened to them. I was in a rush when I ordered this, was having a bad day with our roof leaking in six different places, and we were having one of THE COLDEST and rainiest weeks in spring. A perfect time for our old heater to break down on us. Unfortunately, with everything going on in the world, we had to wait longer than usual for this to get delivered. But when it got here, did it deliver. (I couldn't find a heater anywhere in our local stores, so I HAD to order online.) In my rush, I didn't realize just how small it is. Our old standing heater was about 1 1/2 ft x 1 ft x 7 in. It half radiated, half blew out heat. Even for it's size, it took a while to heat the room. Then we get this little heater at about 8 in x 6 in x 4 in and I'm worried what it's capable of. But when I skimmed through the reviews, most swore by it's power. And they were right! It has a pretty good fan for it's size, and after just a few minutes, it is BLOWING out hot air! Our cold, damp, leaky room was toasty and more than tolerable in under 30 minutes. Our floor may have been wet, but the chill in the air was gone. We were finally able to go to bed warm and content. After the rain had passed and our carpet dried out, I sometimes have to turn off the heater at night to give ourselves a break, it warms the room that good. I haven't figured out the thermostat yet, sometimes it'll get pretty chilly in the middle of the night and won't come on, so I have to turn it on manually to warm the room in the morning. Other times, if I have the thermostat up too high, it won't shut off for quite a while, warming up the place a tad too toasty. But it was a lifesaver in our situation. For it's very small size, it has great heat, and a powerful fan that blows the heat out quickly instead of slowly radiating it. Don't be fooled by it's tiny size, it's small but mighty! It does have an overheating safety shut off and tip-over protection, so it will shut off if it gets knocked over. I can't guarantee it'll warm a whole house, but for our regular sized family room, it is fantastic. In our hour of need (in spite of an extra two days of shipping time) it was a quick purchase to get us through a freezing week, and I couldn't be happier with it's performance. ... show more

I really like this heater. I originally purchased it nearly three years ago when COVID hit and started working from home, and just recently, it started to overheat on its own, shutting off after only a few minutes. It worked flawlessly for nearly three years. So much so that I purchased another one last week. The only difference I've noticed with this new one is that the red light stays on at all times now when the unit is plugged in, whether it's on or off. That's the only thing I don't like about it. I sometimes now have to double check that it's indeed turned off if I'm in the other room and notice the light. I believe the light stays on now because instructions state to always unplug when not in use, but that is just not feasible for me. The red light will turn off when the unit is titled and the safety switch on the bottom is disengaged, so when I remember, I lean the unit back against my desk when I'm for the day. Other than that, this heaters works really well to heat up my entire room. ... show more
