This is a small portable car jump starter, with Amperage and Peak Output Amperage Levels of 3000amps. It comes with a USB charging cord (no plug), a semi-hard storage case, and a User Manual which is pretty comprehensive. It is not very heavy, weighing just over 2 pounds. The battery clamps, made of plastic, and cables appear to be heavy duty. When I positioned it next to the car battery, I think that I would like the cables to be a little longer. There is a well-lit LCD display with easy to read numbers, which registers the amount that the unit is charged. When the unit arrived, it was at 85% , and charged up quickly to 100%. that was over 2 weeks ago, and today the LCD shows still charged at 100%. The item description claims that this jump starter can be on standby for 24 months. Of course, I cannot verify that at this point. A flashlight is located on top , and is controlled by the same button that turns the machine on and off. There are three light settings, Flashlight, Strobe, and SOS. This can also serve as a power bank. That could also come in handy in an emergency. It has two USB outlets to attach your devices for charging. The USB -OUT ports, and the USB-C IN port for charging are on the side of the unit, and are labeled. I tested the USB-OUT ports with a tablet and cell phone, both of which charged up pretty quickly, and the unit itself remained at 100% power. The charging cables easily attach to the side of the unit, marked by a plastic cover labeled "engine start" , with a photo of an automobile. I hope I'll not have need of this to jumpstart my car, but I feel good that I have it with me if that should occur. I'll be turning it on periodically to check on the amount of charge. If I am able to use it for a jump , I will update this review, but at present everything appears to work as advertised. ... show more

I really like this jumper. It's almost perfect. I have a to many vehicles and equipment to keep track of the batteries in them all. I always have at least one that needs to be jumped off. I tried this on an old car with a dead battery and it started it great. I like how it's small and comes with a case to keep up with everything. The one thing I don't like is that it should come with a charger. It only includes the cord. This device takes a long time to charge on a regular phone charger since it has a large capacity. They really should include a high capacity USB charger at this price point. That's my only complaint, other than that it's perfect. ... show more

I got a 10kw portable generator for use around the house and on jobsites. The battery isn't the usual sealed lead acid. Instead it's the LiPO4 type. What I didn't know last summer is LiPO4 batteries hate cold weather. When the power went out in the middle of January the battery wouldn't spin it fast enough to start. Even if it could it wasn't opening up the solenoid valve on the bottom of the carb so even the pull starter was worthless. I was going to replace the battery (but the battery box is too small) so I bought this instead. I don't know how well it jump starter will work in the dead of winter after sitting in a car at -40 but it can live in my warm house and come out when needed. In the warmer months I'll leave it in the wife's car so if she has a dead battery she can hopefully find someone to help get her car started. The display is large and it even has a couple of USB ports to charge a phone. When charging it's extremely easy to see the charge level. It has a built in light to make attaching the cables at night easier. I would suggest removing the image of the positive and negative clamps clamped together. I have no idea what would happen if you tried it but if this can put out 3000 amps the result would be very unhealthy for anyone near it. it says there's intelligent safety protections but I didn't actually see how they work. Maybe it can tell the difference between a starter and a dead short? I would really like to see if this could actually start a diesel in the dead of winter with a dead battery. But I'll never have to deal with that. I think it'll handle a 4 cylinder engine without a problem. ... show more

My lawn tractor is further away than my 100 foot extension cord will travel, so in the spring, I used to lug an old lead acid battery pack jump starter. Damn thing needs new battery every 4 years, always needs to be charged before use, can only use them a couple times. WELL, NO MORE! This thing maybe weighs 2 pounds, fits in a large pocket, and started the tractor no problem. Battery gauge went from 100% to 97% after a full 2 minutes of cranking. My brother told me about this thing years ago, how they use one to start diesel truck at work, I didn't believe him, but he was right, don't be like me, just put in your cart right now. I got this for my boat to have on hand. I am very pleased with this device as it was way to setup and use on my boat. I like that it charges via USB c. I like that this system is very compact and easy to store on my boat. The cables are simple to connect and I like that they store easy into the case.
