This really does black out the room if it completely covers the window. It's kind of surprising actually because it literally feels like a shower curtain to me. Feels and looks like vinyl. When I opened it, I was like 'are you kidding me'? I seriously thought I was send a shower curtain instead of a window covering. I wouldn't call it a curtain per se, but a covering. I'll update the review after I see how it works on keeping the room cooler because this room gets very hot in the summer even with the a/c on.

The cut is a half inch short in both directions. Maybe if you stretch it you'll get the full length and width. Fabric would be a great black out/reflective option. Just wrong measurements

Easy to use. Measure your windows first then cut window cover if needed to the correct size. Use the velcro dots/tabs to attach the window covering. Easy to remove for the winter if you want. Does a great job blocking out the sun and heat. Good value for your money.

Love these blackout curtains. Bought a set for my daughter’s bedroom, and they are so easy to put up. They come with Velcro stickers that can attach to the curtain and the windowsill. I’ve shown a picture of the curtain with a smaller blackout panel I had in comparison to this one, and there is a huge difference. I was able to block out the entire window with it. The only downside is I thought this came with two pieces, but it only comes with one piece, which would be easy to cut down if needed.

Used this blackout shade while on a weekend getaway. It was easy to install.. and kept the light out well. My toddler slept better with these in place than he does at home. Additionally, they help to deflect the heat that tends to come into a room when the sun shines through the window.

I was expecting more of a cloth feeling for these, but they have the feel of a vinyl shower curtain. However, they do work. They were easy to hang, I used the velcro attachments because in the winter I do like letting sunlight in. I have a projector in my bedroom so I wanted blackout curtains so I wouldn't have to wait till 9PM to go lie down and watch TV on my projector. It was almost a perfect size for my window, length was great, width I was shy just a couple inches. My fault though for not measuring accurately. Overall, this product does work, it's a bit of an eyesore but it does work. It got so dark in my room that when I tried to take a picture it initiated the flash.
