I like this basketball hoop. It’s perfect for my 5 year old twins. But I took a star away due to the fact that there are plastic clips that attach the net to the metal hoop and I can guarantee that they won’t last long with weathering and all. I’m not sure why they couldn’t just make the typical metal hooks that attach the net on a full sized hoop. They also made less attachments on the net on this than what is on the typical hoops. Not sure why they skimped on these simple aspects and didn’t just stick with what is always done. So when the plastic clips break I guess I’ll be putting zip ties on this. The pole is not as thick as the regular size either but I guess that’s due to it being shorter. I hope it doesn’t compromise the integrity over time. The backboard is strong and feels like good quality as does the hoop. It’s a heavy metal hoop. So all in all, I do like this but I was truly disappointed in the net attachments. Would I buy it again. Maybe not if I can find one with just as high quality metal pole and hoop but with the metal hooks and full amount of attachments but otherwise, I do like the quality and strength of this. ... show more

I purchased this basketball hoop as an early Christmas Present for an 11 year old boy and it was a hit. It is lightweight and height adjustable which is great! I like that it arrived quickly and took a handful of minutes to set up. For a portable basketball hoop, it was at a great price. My nephews really like it and it keeps them away from playing video games for a few hours. I am very happy with this product! ... show more

This basketball hoop seems fairly well made, although the posts are a little thin. I also think this really should be labeled as a Youth basketball hoop since the it is a little lightweight compared to a traditional adult hoop. The assembly was physically easy, but took a little bit of thought process as the instructions are simply pictures. It took some time, but after a few missteps I was able to get it fully assembled. There are no hooks on the rim for the net, instead it comes with these little plastic pieces that wrap around the rim through the net, then snap together. I used pliers to fully connect them as I found them hard to close tightly by hand. The net is also only 10 loops to connect to the rim instead of the standard 12 and there is no instructions on how to space them properly. I spaced them about 4 3/4 inches apart and that seemed to work. All in all not a bad hoop, but I think it might not hold up to older teens or adults playing. ... show more
