Why did you pick this product vs others?: It had decent reviews. I purchased it before it got really hot, and unfortunately did not test it early enough for the return window. First thing, it had a hole in the reservoir. I plugged that with silicone, but upon fixing that issue, tested it and it leaks internally from where the unit meets the base (see picture taken right after it turns off). Gave this machine a whole month of use hoping i’d change my mind. This DEFINITELY does NOT cool like an air conditioner, & it does blow nothing but temperature air if your in a warm room. We tried it in different parts of the house (bedrooms, garage) and same outcome. After 1 month of using it 2-3 days a week the “swing” motion suddenly stopped working. Unfortunately its just too big & too much of a hassle to return it so i’m stuck. But not worth $100+ dollars. ... show more

Works great as a fan. The timer feature doesn’t work and it’s doesn’t work as a small ac. Despite adding the ice blocks and ice the air never really blows cold.

I've reached out to the company 4 times so far about the issues below and they have not responded: Functionality: Using an infared laser thermometer, the fan blows air around 78 degrees Fahrenheit. The media could not be loaded. Used the fan about 2 months when it began to break down. No longer quiet and the control buttons on the unit and the remote stopped working. I was able to plug the unit in to start and unplug to shut it down but not a safe option.
