I am happy with this hydration backpack. I have had the Camelback brand in the past. The bladder is a little more complicated to use, but it works well. I like the extra pockets the backpack has on the front on the shoulder straps. It fits well and is handy for use when riding my bike.

Tired of awkwardly carrying large water bottles and your phone while exercising on the trail? This Hydration vest from Nevo Rhino is the solution to your problem, providing convenience, extra-large capacity in a convenient vest format so you can enjoy your workout while staying hydrated! I used this in 90-degree temperatures with high humidity for a 5-mile run, and while I originally wanted to run further, the sun and heat had me stop at 5 miles. The hydration vest was a real lifesaver along with a cooling towel. To prepare the vest, I washed it according to instructions and let it dry out. Since the vest holds up to 50oz (1.5L) of water, I tend to put in 10 to 15 oz of water and then freeze the bladder overnight. I will then run some cold water on the outlet valve to loosen it up and then fill it to the desired level, usually another 20 to 30oz. That stays very cold for my long 1 to 2-hour runs, with enough water to rehydrate during and after the run. I recommend priming your water tube before you leave by sucking in some water through the tube. You need to squeeze the tube with your teeth or lips and then suck out the water. Also, it’s best not to leave the tube exposed while out on the trail as that water will warm up quicker. I tend to get my water, then push the tube back into the vest behind me with just the tip exposed. Clean-up is easy, where you wash the nipple, rinse off the vest, empty and rinse out the bladder, and let them all dry. No more carrying water bottles for me, and I no longer need that phone armband since the vest has several pockets for storage, including your phone, a wallet, gel/electrolyte packs, and other nicknacks. The vest has adjustable straps so you can easily secure it from bouncing around. And honestly, I don’t really notice that I am wearing the vest, except when I want to get a few sips of water. No issue with water tasting funny since I gave this a very thorough wash and airing before first use. This satisfies a big need I had since I started running earlier this year. Really good price and the quality has been excellent so far.

Almost perfect! I love how the water bag has the big opening for easy cleaning and refilling plus it has the cover for the mouth piece. I gave a 4 star because it should have 1 or 2 more pockets. I understand how small it is and it's great for the price.

The bladder setup is absolutely ideal for high-motion, high-impact activities like technical hiking or mountain biking where you need to keep your hands completely free and the load stable. For lower-intensity activities like jogging or road walking, I sometimes lean toward bottle-style hydration packs, but when you are bouncing around on trails, a streamlined bladder system like this is tough to beat. The overall layout is highly functional. The pack leverages a compact, aerodynamic profile that sits tightly against the back to minimize wind resistance and eliminate unwanted bounce. The organizational spaces are well-integrated; the combination of a dedicated hydration sleeve, front zippered storage, and reachable chest pockets makes it easy to keep essential gear, snacks, and electronics separate and accessible. The build quality feels reliable for rugged outdoor use, utilizing dependable Duraflex hardware on the adjustable chest and waist straps to pull the load tight against the body.
