I live in Washington state, so it isn't super humid here. But it can get hot. I get hot easy, so I use it to cool my room down. Could easily cool down a slightly larger room. It is a little loud, but more like a white noise machine than anything. Seems like a decent enough ac for the price.

It works good enough. The front panels already don’t open when turned on. Need to remember to do it manually or it doesn’t work and the cool air doesn’t blow out. Decent for the price I guess

    • Find a different option.
Works ok but the draining of the water is not convenient at all. You need to empty a container that you put on the floor constantly or open a drain plug that is a half inch off the floor and try to get that in a bucket. The window kit doesnt fit well in standard vinyl windows .Returning unfortunately ... show more

This product does not preform well. I use it for my bedroom and that room alone and it can barely keep up on 80 degree days while producing so much water you have to drain. I have to empty a bucket twice a day. This products cost to much for claiming to be 8000 btu and cannot cool a single room down that is insulated and door shut. Would not recommend. ... show more
