It was hot for some days recently, so I had a chance to try this portable air conditioner. It cooled the room very quickly and made a big difference in comfort. The fan and dehumidifier functions also worked well, and I really like the auto oscillation and remote control — very convenient to use. Now that it’s fall, I won’t need it much, but I plan to take it to my daughter’s apartment next year when the weather gets hot again. It’s easy to move and set up, and so far I’m very happy with this purchase!

this ac works great. only the air vent is a royal pain to install. ended up having to tape it on to use it. this could have been done better. nice remote comes with it.

UPDATE: 3/16/26 I have received 6 emails over 3/13 – 3/16 from the “seller” of this a/c unit attempting to buy off my review (compensation after I delete my review). Twice I urged them to use the Amazon Message Center, twice they refused, therefore I believe something suspicious is occurring. Hopefully I can get their emails to AMZ so they can take appropriate action. In any case, buyer beware. Additionally, I discovered that on the ID/Model/Serial Number tag (see pictures), the rated NOISE LEVEL is published. I find it interesting that the Rated 65dB NOISE LEVEL shown on the tag is very much in line with the 66dB I measured when I received the unit. The advertised dB rating on the Amazon Web Page does not match the dB rating on the ID Tag (Minus 1 Star). ORIGINAL 2 Star REVIEW 9/29/25 - 3/16/26 The GOOD – unit cools down nicely. My thermometer read 43.8F. The BAD - The unit I received made much more noise than advertised. In air conditioning mode, fan on LOW SPEED, my sound meter registers 65.7dB. With the fan on HIGH SPEED, my sound meter registers 77.0 dB!!! (minus 3 stars) For comparison, I watch TV at about 50 dB (the a/c unit is advertised as 50 dB). The unit arrived in a very beat up box, yet cosmetically all was fine. To get by thru the heat wave, I placed the a/c unit outside and repurposed the hose they provided as exhaust hose as a cold air into the house hose. It wasn’t ideal because the hose wasn’t insulated, but it did work since it cooled the room and I was able to watch tv. BTW – with the a/c unit outside, the sound level measurement dropped below 40 dB even on the high speed fan setting! Overall – I don’t recommend this a/c unit because of the noise. 77/66 dB is loud! Maybe I got a bad unit?
