My cat is extremely picky and I wanted to upgrade his bowls, it’s always 50/50 with him he’s either going to look at it and walk away or he’s going to be interested in it. He immediately started eating out of his new bowls after I gave it a good wash. Since he’s picky I have to make sure the bowls don’t smell like anything. My cat is pretty tall and these work nicely for him, I read mixed things about what position your cat should be in while eating but he tends to like to stand up while eating. He’s also 14 so that might have something to do with it. Great quality bowls and they have a good weight to them. I’m going to order more so he has bowls in my room as well.

Style doesn't matter much to me when it comes to feeding my cats. But I needed elevated bowls & I would say the price is a bit high but we'll worth it imo. They clean so easily! & they actually do help keep the kitties from making a mess. Not that it completely prevents it but they do help. None of my cats have threw up since I got them but I do wish that they came with 2 shallow dishes for food because I give my cats water in something else. Might order another pair just so I can have 2 shallow dishes.

These are like miracle dishes. I have 2 elderly cats, ages 17 and 14. The 17-year old cat is blind and these dishes make it much easier for him to find his food and water because his nose bumps into them. The 14-year old cat wasn't eating enough, and the vet and I became worried. However, when her canned food is put in this elevated bowl she eats twice as much as before. I have even stopped charting her calorie intake! There is also much less mess with these bowls. Before I'd have to sweep up spilled food every day, but very little food is dropped when the cats eat from these. The dishes are easy to clean and are heavy enough that they don't move around when the cats are eating or drinking. It is no exaggeration to say that these bowls have actually enhanced my kitties' quality of life in their senior years. They are worth every penny.

My cat is a very tall lanky string bean and it was difficult for her to eat from normal plates and bowls or maybe it wasn’t, but I just felt like she ate rather slow and it didn’t look very nice. These out of 3 others were the highest and absolutely the perfect height for her.

Older cats get reflux. Raising the bowl and the angle of their approach to the food is shown to help. This bowl is pleasant to look at and does the trick. These cats don't deserve something this elegant, but they got it.

I bought two sets of these raised pet bowls to replace another similar one that the kittens had managed to break. These are a little taller than the other ones I had, but they’re also more sturdy/heavy. I do use both for food (both the shallower one and the deeper one), instead of the deeper one for water. Kittens approve! I also really like that they’re dishwasher safe so I can easily have one clean set ready to go and have the other set in use.
