Description

If you know what you’re doing this is an amazing machine, use it for my business when I don’t need to drag out one of the full size skids which is honestly most the time. Runs 7018 3/32 to 5/32 all day in all positions, even runs 3/16th 6011s real smooth in gaps all positions and flat without a gap. If you can control the puddle and know what to look for the lack of amp control isn’t an issue. 100% recommend experienced welders needing a smaller machine or someone trying to do light repairs on thicker steel. Engine cranks on first pull every time. Only complaint is the 120 plug being a strange twist lock took me a few attempts to wire a adaptor correctly but it works great, it’s DC power from the plug as well so no expensive multi speed tools. Extremely light weight even when full. Easiest thing to get around a job site takes up little room in your truck bed and it’s pretty quiet compared to a full size welder generator.

I really like this little welder! However it does not have an amperage adjustment. On some larger pipe welding machines, it’s common to have an adjustment that can lower the R P M s to adjust the arc force. Makes sense that one could adjust the amps somewhat on this machine by dropping the R P M s. It’s a handy little machine to carry around for small jobs. I give it a like!

Ok First if your looking for a welder to use for a living. This is not it But for the money and being able to load and move it around for small jobs I am impressed You speed the engine up to increase amperage or slow it down to decrease the amperage party sample I rain 5 1/8 in 7018 like nothing You will need to buy some cable Please read everything before you buy it Cables are not cheap

Idle it down for less amps.my skin feels like sandpaper and I had real bad welders flash this morning I would have wrote review sooner but was unable to see my phone other than that works great

I saw a very bad video of this machine on YouTube when I bought it and thought that it was going to be a waste of money but it works very good. The only bad thing about this machine is that it doesn't have a gauge and that the fuel tank it 3/4 of a gallon, I spill some on my very first fill up. Other than that where can you buy an engine driven welding this cheap.
