  • Best Game for both newcomers and old time fans of LBP!!
Platform: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
(as this is my parent's account and that they bought the game for me for Christmas; i figured that writing a review from me experiencing it, would be better from the eyes of a long time fan to others considering the game.) So first off, what you need to know about this game is that it's NOT LBP. it's a whole standalone game separate from the main franchise. and honestly? its really good that it is! Now because it's not LBP, there's no community levels or the sticker mechanics. It's campaign and story based and not the multiple worlds you would see in LBP. now again, this is Sackboy, and not LBP. it's the one thing that should be known when going through this and i would say that this is the only downside if going in blind. i've heard reviews from other sites that the game bosses can be predictable, but i think that it's that very thing thats supposed to be. yes, the bosses can be predictable, but Sackboy isn't supposed to be a serious challenge like that. now i haven't finished the game just yet, but i can tell that there was a lot of love and thoughtfulness when confronting a story campaign game involving sackboy and the other characters. i won't go too much into the story, but the opening sequence made me so happy seeing certain things made cannon that was not in the LBP series. in fact, i would say that as LBP2 was peak LBP, that Sackboy has that same level of pleasure but just a different kind of vibe. it's way better than LBP3 (of which me and my cousins do not speak of), and the level replay value gives good challenges with the 3d freeroam environment. point is, if you are looking for a good game to chill and have fun by yourself or even with 3 of your friends by couch and/or online, whether you are a veteran to the LBP series or a newcomer, definitely get this for you or your kid ... show more

  • Fun game!
Platform: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
Super fun game! I play it online with my mom. We are now at the last gate and have been short 15 orbs for like a month now. Having trouble finding the hidden places to get more orbs. Also there’s an impossible level that makes us so angry! But we have had fun playing it and will continue until we can pass it! ... show more

  • Fun, rated E game, up to 4 players, and doesnt make me lightheaded, etc
Platform: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
As someone who frequently gets migraines and flashing lights makes me feel really bad, I really appreciate that SUMO made this game way less flashy than LBP3. I couldn't even play that game with my son, unfortunately, because of how bad it made me feel. We've really been enjoying playing Sackboy together though. He doesnt mind that there is no creation mode. He really liked LBP and LBP2 creation modes but despised LBP3 creation mode. Anyway, it's a fun, rated E game that can play up to 4 players and doesn't make me feel sick so it's 5 stars from me! ... show more

  • Fun for the whole family
Platform: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
While Sackboy doesn't have all of the free building elements of the LBP series, the game is as colorful and entertaining. Fun to play solo or multiplayer. Easy to upgrade to the PS5 but you do have to start over if you start playing on the PS4 and then upgrade.

  • Fun and super adorable
Platform: PlayStation 4 Edition: Standard
This game is very fun and super adorable. It gets a bit monotonous if you're going for the platinum but that can be said of almost any game. Overall, an enjoyable way to spend a few hours
