I bought 3 sets of these lights (6 lights total). First, the lights with the electrical plugs are great. The plugs work as expected, and installation was easy, with the only tricky part being the adjustment of the mounting screw length. 5 stars for the lights with plugs - they are great. The non-plug lights are bad. First, the build quality is inconsistent with all 3 have having different angles for the light enclosure. One of them bends toward the house, while another one bends away from the house. Since these were mounted on my front porch facing sideways, this angle was easy to notice. My wife made a comment within a few seconds of seeing it, saying they don't look right. I tried to take them apart and fix them, but was only partially successful - I straightened them out, but the they are now a bit loose. The design on the non-plug lights is such that the mounting screws are VERY hard to reach - you need very small fingers to get the nuts started, and they are very hard to tighten. I had to use a small wrench to tighten, but this scratched off the black paint. I used a black marker to "darken" the nuts again, but even that was difficult - you need a thin black marker to get access to them. Finally, these do not operate like normal porch lights - they only light up fully with motion detection. On Low mode, they are off until motion is detected. On "High" mode, they light up at 30%. So unless you put in a very bright bulb, the 30% light is very dim. This works OK for my 3 garage lights, since there is already a very bright street lamp, but this is annoying for my porch lights by the door. I'm thinking about taking them apart and removing the motion detection, and just wiring to the socket directly. The installation was such a pain that I'm going to try out the "high" mode, and see if it will work for us.

I got these mainly for it’s outlet adapter. I wanted to mount them in my front yard so I can plug my Halloween decorations in. It’s pretty well hidden behind the lantern. Note that only one of the lantern have the outlet. The other is just a standard motion sensor dust to dawn lantern light. You can control the different mode by turning the switch off and on really fast. This will toggle it between auto mode and manual mode. I mostly just keep mine at automation since it looks great at nice. The installation wasn’t too hard. It took me about 20-30 minutes. Overall a pretty good price for two lanterns.

Front porch , where there was no outlets easy solution! Only problem, the nuts (for the Non-GFI part of unit) are very tiny, small fingers, here would be useful.

Only dislike the lights with the outlets seem different in size than the others, but hardly noticeable. Have not had them through a summer yet, nor too long. Hoping to get two to three years out of them. We will see how they last through a south Florida rainy season.

little confused at first installing, but got the hang of it, got them installed, No lightbulbs included so I bought 75watt daylight dimmable LED lights, works perfectly!
