The Populo 75 ft/ 1/2 inch drain auger was sent in strong cardboard box with foam padding. It was a bit heavy so using a dolly or having someone help bring it in might be a good idea. It was easy to assemble and is solidly built. The directions were clear and the short videos also helped. Two passes through our sewer line cleared the clog restoring normal flow. Also, the price was good compared to other drain augers. I would recommend this tool if you have a serious sewer line clog. Sitting on a short stool or upside down bucket will help make the job easier too.

My plumbing is such that I need to call rotorooter twice a year. This has been going on for a decade. Each time this costs me ~$500. So for less than the price of one Rotorooter house call I’m hoping this will provide a long term DIY solution. I just received this 2 days ago and I'm putting it together today. It was very well packed and there is no damage from shipping. This machine is HEAVY and very well made. My last drain cleaner was sooo much cheaper in materials and I expect this one to last a very long time.

Typically I have to pay $300 to fix a clogged pipe. After assembling the machine (which is easy) I went to work on a clogged kitchen drain line. 20 minutes later the clog was gone and the water was draining. Very, very happy!
