I bought this ice cube system thinking it would be great to freeze ice cubes from lemon juice from my tree. It turned out to not be usable for me. First, the cubes produced are very tiny - about a 1-1/2 teaspoons of liquid fills each cavity. This is probably on me. I may not have read the description well enough. But this size lemon ice cubes are not sufficient to flavor a large glass of ice water unless you throw in several. Next, if the trays are filled a bit over filled, the warping button on the release box cannot bend the tray enough to break apart and release the cubes. I did not over fill them to a ridiculous level, perhaps 4-5 millimeters over the tops of the cube overflow dividers. Warping the trays by hand released the ice, but with groups of ice cubes in a clump. If you would like cute, tiny ice cubes perhaps for something in a champagne glass, this might be just the thing. All in all, for my purposes, I am better off using normal, stand alone ice cube trays which create a more satisfying size cube of lemon juice (or whatever) and take up much less room in my freezer.

The product says put the ice tray upside down and then press the button at the corner and the ice will come out. The problem is, when i press the button, the container cannot hold the force because it is not hard side walls and the whole thing will go into the container. I have to press it in air to get it to work, not as advertised. Other than that, the product is really good for ice storage.

But if I am being honest, the push button to pop the ice out of the tray doesn't work most of the time (took mine out) and the lid barely stays on the thing. I have had to clean ice up off my floor more than once. I do still use it as it is small and fits well in my freezer, but it isn't some wonder tech piece of equipment...it is a gimmick, and not a very good one. There are better options out there.
