At the time of this review, this PoolPure Aquaguard SE II 2025 was under $100 and it's a good rechargeable robot pool cleaner in the sub $100 price range, and I've tested a few of them. To get something better, you will need to spend more. The robot cleaner comes with the robot cleaner itself, which has two parts that snap together with a filter screen in the middle, plus it came with a charger and a hook that fits a standard sized pool pole. The robot cleaner is easy to use. You just charge it, then press the botton until you hear it beep, then drop it in the pool. It will sink and then start it's routine and move around in a non programable pattern and cover the floor of the pool. It will pick up small leaves, dust, dirt, hair, etc. It does move kind of fast and sometimes it cruises right through the pile in the middle of the pool while only picking up some of it, and then it stirs the water so the rest just kind of flys away. It will eventually go back and get the stuff it missed, but if it moved slower, it might catch it all on the first pass and be a little more efficient. There were a couple of times the robot stopped working. I pulled it out and thought maybe it was full, and I cleaned out the debris it picked up, and that seemed to work, but it didn't seem full at all. The instruction manual, in the trouble shooting section, said that if it beeped but did not move then it might be a sensor and need technical service. After taking it apart to clean it, I could not see the sensor, and it was not listed on the diagram, so I'm not sure where that sensor is (water level sensor). After cleaning out the dirt, taking it out of the pool, and putting it back in, it seemed to work, so it may have been an air bubble trapped in the machine. This is listed as being 8 pounds, and it is when it's dry. Once it's in the water and full of water it is a good deal heavier. The handle loop that you grab with the hook is pretty flimsy, and it fell off once when trying to retrieve it from the pool. I was able to snap it back into place and it's stayed on since, but I would expect that I'll have to jump in the pool to get it at least a few times this summer and if it keeps falling off, I'll end up gluing it on. All in all, it's a good cleaner. Not the best, not the worst I've tried. For the price point I don't have any major complaints and it does save me a little bit of time with my maintenance. The recharging part is like a cell phone, I find that I have to recharge it after each use, and while it's a little annoying, it is something you get used to, similar to your cell phone. For reference, I am using this in a 23' above ground pool and it cleans just the floors.

Does vacume up small debris on bottom. Has trouble with leaves seems to push them out of the way rather than pull them in. Does'nt seem to run any pattern other than random no matter then wheel setting. Wish now I went with a better brand.

The PoolPure Aquaguarf SE II cordless pool cleaner is doing a great job on my 15’ x 30’ above-ground pool. It’s a fast mover and the screen filters out small particles from the pool floor quite well. With a two hour run time, this pool robot surpasses other cordless robots I have used. Unlike bulkier corded pool vacuums, it is handy and easy to use on a daily basis. My surface skimmer robot does not have to be removed from the pool in order to use it, unlike with corded vacuums. I’m quite pleased with this pool cleaner.
