This tool chest is a fantastic starter toolbox in my garage! The detachable top box give you some options for how you want to use it. There's plenty of drawer space for my needs. The quality feels quite solid and likely can take a beating and last for a decade. This is an affordable and good first tool chest. This tool chest comes with a cart with wheels and a tool box that can sit on top of the cart.     • Good Enough, But Not Heavy Duty

Just recently purchased this for home organization. I was in need of something in the office/craft room where I could have several small drawers, a cabinet, and places to stow some basic tools I use around the house. This fit the bill. I use the small drawers to fit some of the fly tying materials I use, that I can’t easily store in the partitioned tackle boxes I have on the fly tying table. This cart fit the bill there perfectly. A few things to know: 1) The cart isn’t going to be as sturdy as something from Craftsman or even Husky. 2) The unit is fairly small, so storage isn’t going to be massive, or what you’d expect for something in a mechanic’s shop in a garage. This is a fairly small unit. 3) This thing doesn’t really lock. There are two hooking bars that can slide over the lock loops, and in that way you can lock drawers, etc, but it’s not like there is a locking function right off the bat that is easy to use. 4) It’s thin metal. Again, this isn’t something heavy duty. This is probably best for light home duty more than anything. And the slides aren’t exactly high quality. They aren’t soft close, but they work and as long as you’re not slamming drawers shut, you’re going to be in great shape. Overall? Exactly what I was looking for. Nothing more, nothing less. I’ll update this review once I get some more mileage out of it, but for now freshly assembled and loaded up, it seems functional, good for the cost, and fits what I need for light home duty. ... show more

I am extremely happy with this tool chest! It has plenty of storage space with the 5 drawers and the large bottom cabinet. The detachable top toolbox is super convenient when I just need to grab a few tools and go. The metal feels sturdy, and the lockable wheels roll very smoothly around my garage. the quality exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend it for any workshop or home garage! ... show more

This is a pretty small cabinet but it has some nice features and will work well for me. No locking drawers to keep you from opening them all and tipping over like in a high end cabinet and no individual locks but it does have nice locking straps that can secure everything at once. Packaging was well thought out and everything was good even though the box was clearly abused during shipping. There are foam pads in each drawer and on top of both pieces. Not glued down but that’s ok. This is a good deal for holding small items. I’m using it to store tools while I build an aluminum airplane. Decent little cabinet. Smaller than anticipated. Sand color is great. The Good: Good Paint (powder coated), Fit and finish is very good. Easy to assemble. There are some smart details with the cabinet. Metal is sturdy and the casters are very good. Very well packaged. The mediocre: A bit pricy for what you get. I would have expected roller bearings for the drawers as a standard feature now-a-days. They are simple metal on metal sliding drawers; they work fine but bearings would have been nice. The unit is smaller than I anticipated. The Bad: Obviously had been dropped as one corner was bent, but packed well enough that a hammer straitened it out. Unit itself, no issues. Would I buy again? Prob not. I would spend more money on a cabinet with roller bearing drawers. This is a cabinet, that if I moved, I would not be upset if I had to leave it in the garage. This is a good, lightweight metal storage box. I used it to store handguns and ammunition inside. It locks and it rolls for mobility. The drawers do not have glides, so they might not work well with heavy tools. The cabinet has a shelf. It not a brand name but it works for my purposes.

NOT left at the front door! It was left in front of the apartment building instead of taken upstairs to the correct apartment number. It could have been stolen! Item seems ok BUT: My husband disabled with heart condition) had to carry it up. And it was heavy! Fed Ex left it there. I contacted them already. To add, item is very nice for the price. Not for tons of heavy objects but perfect for the light duties at home. Very pleased with the item itself. ... show more
