Bought this at the end of December 2024, and it will no longer charge. Dead as a doornail. I cannot get an answer from the seller, as to replacement etc. Wasted money. Do NOT buy this pool vacuum and save your $!

I’m not very tech-savvy, so I wanted something easy to operate. This pool vacuum for above ground pool was exactly that. I just pressed the button, dropped it in, and let it do its thing. It covered the entire pool floor and picked up everything from leaves to tiny debris. Cleaning the filter afterward was quick. Now I just use it twice a week and my pool always looks great with zero effort on my part.

Probably sending back. 2 years ago I bought a " Seauto Seal Robotic Pool Vacuum-Intelligent Path Planning Automatic Pool Cleaner, Working Time Up to 2-2.5 Hours Cordless Pool Vacuum, Suitable for Walls and Floors of 2150 Square Feet Pool". I loved it from day one. It scrubbed the waterline. It cleaned my large pool. It did not like large leaves (Big Oak tree nearby) I dealt with that. One day it started going only in circles. It only liked two spots in my pool. Where I initially dropped it in and near the drain in the deep end. Why am I telling all this? For comparison sake. As far as the Seauto Crab. It's only ok. It goes up the wall then falls to the floor of the pool. It's missing an opportunity to collect more debris on the way down. Yesterday I saw it scrub the waterline in one spot. Does it only scrub where needed? Not sure. It did not completely clean the floor of the pool. It left dirt behind. Not twigs or leaves. Yesterday I ran the Seal (in it's two spots) it picked up more dirt and debris than the Crab in full coverage mode. Also, the Crab is full of water. I left it on my porch last night and this morning it still had an abundance of water. Currently it is laying upside down hoping it drains. The Seal would have a few drips when I brought it inside to charge. Both are easy to use. Charge. Push a button to select a mode. Drop in pool. Honestly I would have paid $300. to have my Seal fixed. And one last issue with the crab....putting the filter box back on after cleaning. That part is not easy at all.

Battery life is very good. It's easy to use. The phone app is simple but is easy to use. I'm not impressed with the systematic approach of cleaning. It may repeat one area multiple times but miss an other area. When going up the walls it sometimes sits near the surface for a while before it decides that it's wasting time on one small spot. So I decided that I let it do the floor, while I do the walls with a brush.

This robot is amazing! My husband and I were skeptical it about cleaning the walls of our 16x32 above ground pool. Let me tell you it does. It will also go up the cake steps. It does an amazing job cleaning. It cleans my pool in 2.5 hrs. This thing is worth every penny and highly recommend.

UPDATE - its been 4 months and it's completely stopped working and wont charge. I ordered the replacement charger and still nothing. Original review: This was very durable and heavy duty. I use it each day. Only odd thing is it doesnt seem to go completely around the pool, it moves to about 1/2 to the middle and then back but I just move it and it covers the area. Really impressed with this one in comparison to all of the others I have tried.
