This is powerful enough to provide aeration to my 200 gallon koi pond. I initially used the provided tubing which is very low grade and kinks easy and repeatedly is forced off the pump due to air pressure and vibration. I finally replaced all the tubing and attached with zip ties and it seems to keep the tubing from vibrating off the pump. I would think this is a very common complaint.

The four stones all seem to push out different amounts of air, but it is adding enough oxygen to my 10x4x3ft pond. The hoses were pretty kinked up out of the box, and it is nearly impossible to get them to straighten out, which may be part of the issue of different air flows to the stones. I would prefer the case of the machine to be a neutral color like black or grey, to better blend into the landscaping instead of a bright blue that stands out and is an eyesore. The machine itself is pretty quiet, and not a nuisance to hear. It is easy to assemble and run into/though the pond. The fish are happy, so I am happy enough.

The media could not be loaded. I use these pumps for my hydroponic garden. I have several with these very same specifications (8W, 192 GPH, 0.018 MPa) and this one is significantly weaker. For your own comparison, check out my video. I start on the air stone used by this pump and pan downward to my other pump running the other identical air stone. There is a significant difference in the amount of air being moved. I am disappointed. The hose provided is flimsy and seems to prefer being kinked to moving air. I removed their hose and used my own (from spout to stone) and it made no difference. For my garden, it's better than nothing, but it certainly will not be a pump I use regularly. I'll keep it on the shelf in case I have an emergency and use it then only as long as needed until a quality replacement arrives. There are plenty of other, better pumps. I wouldn't recommend this one for anything.

This aerator was easy to set up although the hoses were difficult to attach. I laid them out in the sun for a while and they were easier to work with. It is quiet and seems to be providing plenty of air. My plants are doing good and I'm almost ready to add fish.

Initially, I was worried as the pump is very loud if the air lines are not connected. However, once the airlines are connected, the pump is almost silent. Of course this can be remedied by using airline hose with a larger internal diameter, but the hoses the are included are too small and very difficult to attach. The are also very flimsy which makes it that much more difficult to attach even after heating them to make the hoses more pliable.

I really like this pump. It is well made and feels heavy duty. The adjustment dial works smoothly making it easy to adjust the air output. Came with nice set of bubble stones, some one way valves, and lots of extra hose. The pump itself is very quiet, even with the pump turned up to the max. Runs very smooth so all you hear are the bubbles popping in the pond! Very nice air pump!

The media could not be loaded. It was getting hot and I knew I needed more aeration in my goldfish pond. I have now had this running almost continually for 3 straight weeks. I am amazed. It does so very well. There are four outlets for the air hoses and my fish have never been happier. Great product. Recommended!
