Nice pump for my septic system. Only thing I would want different is the option to plug the pump directly to an outlet, instead of having to go through the LED display. When we have a power surge the pump will turn off, but the display turns back on. Which is fine except that you have to manually go turn the pump back on in order for the pump to start operating again. This pump is super quiet. It is roughly 15 feet from my A/C unit and if the A/C is running you can not even hear the pump. I have to put my hand on it to see if it is running. When the A/C is off the pump is still quiet enough to stand right next to and barely hear it. I do wish it was easier to find the air filters though, I have not looked very hard to find them. But with a quick search I have had no luck finding the size that fits this unit.

Ordered this for my 1/4 acre pond. It has already made a big difference in the water clarity after about a month of use (in addition to pond dye and clarifier). Its a little loud, but not too bad. It was easy to set up and get going. Lots of options for runtime. Right now we're just leaving it running 24/7, but it has options like on 2 hours, off 1 hour, etc. We even ended up getting a second one for our smaller back pond.

The media could not be loaded. (Update two days after first writing this review: the manufacturer quickly responded to my email about the broken lid by promising a new lid in the mail right away. I'm impressed. That kind of customer service is rare. I've raised my star rating to five from four.) If you have an aerobic septic tank system or a pond with aeration you likely know the need for a linear air pump. This is a fairly small capacity pump designed for a smaller pond of half an acre or less and six feet in depth. The body of this pump is solid aluminum and the pump is well built and of solid quality. I've had one issue with the pump and that's that several pieces of hard plastic that hold the lid onto the top of the pump came broken off. The lid does come off to permit cleaning of the air filter that resides under the lid, but it needs to go back on after cleaning in order to keep water out of the pump. The lid is held on by four plastic extrusions that fit around each of two bolt heads in the top of the pump housing. Damage in transit appears to have broken off several of the extrusions along with several pins that hold a gasket onto the bottom of the lid. Other pumps built like this one use a screw through the top of the lid into the pump housing to hold the lid on. This is the only pump I'm awaare of that uses plastic nibs and friction and I'm not sure it's the best system, especially because the lid needs to stay on the pump to keep water from intruding into the pump through the air holes covered by the lid. I'm going to write the manufacturer at an email address included with the pump and I will update this review after hearing from them. I've taken off one star for the damage. If I can't get a new lid I'll probably need to take off more stars, but I'm hopeful that since they included a contact email they will. resolve the problem.

This is a strong air pump that I think is really suited for having multiple sights that need oxygenation, or it could be a replacement for an air pump setup that you previously had. I think the one thing that separates this pump from some of the others is the built-in automatic timer function. While it doesn’t come with many attachments it also comes with an integrated timer, which in my book counts for something. I personally like the heavy-duty rubber diffusers, but I can easily add those myself. The housing is metal and seems built to last quite a while. So far, I’m pleased with it.

This is a nice and quite pump. Definitely more air than I expected. Fit perfectly under my fake rock to keep out of the elements. Definitely like the timer features. I used to always just run our pumps 24hrs a day. Took a little fabrication to hook up my two air stones but it turned out great and I'm definitely happy with the results. Our pond is about half acre in size.
