  • Great Filament if you have Hardened Nozzle!
Color: 100 - Fiberon Pa612-cf15 1.75mm Black 0.... Size: 0.5kg New Packaging
I recently started using PA612-CF15 filament in my 3D printer, and it's been an excellent material for high-performance, industrial-grade prints. Here's my detailed review: Print Quality & Ease of Use: The PA612-CF15 filament is a 3D printing material that combines polyamide (nylon) with carbon fiber. It’s a bit more challenging to print with compared to standard filaments like PLA, but it produces outstanding results. The carbon fiber reinforcement provides extra rigidity and strength, and the printed parts come out with a nice matte finish. I’ve found that it’s crucial to adjust the print settings for optimal results—slower print speeds, higher temperatures, and a hardened steel nozzle are key to getting the best quality. Strength & Durability: This filament’s main selling point is its strength. It offers excellent mechanical properties, including high tensile strength and low moisture absorption, which means printed parts stay tough and won’t warp or weaken easily. I’ve used it to print functional parts that need to withstand a bit of wear and tear—things like brackets and connectors—and they’ve held up impressively well. The carbon fiber content also adds to the durability, making it ideal for parts that will be exposed to high stress. Printing Performance: While the PA612-CF15 filament prints relatively well, it’s a bit finicky when it comes to adhesion. I highly recommend using a heated bed, as well as a build surface that’s designed for high-performance filaments (like PEI). Once you’ve dialed in the settings, however, it adheres well and delivers smooth, strong prints. Post-Processing: Another benefit of this filament is its ease of post-processing. You can sand, drill, or machine it with minimal effort, which makes it ideal for parts that need to be further customized. However, because of the carbon fiber content, it can cause additional wear on your print head, so you’ll want to use a hardened nozzle to avoid clogging or damage. Finish & Aesthetics: The carbon fiber content gives the prints a unique, matte black finish that looks both sleek and industrial. This is great if you’re looking for a functional yet stylish end product. The finish is slightly rough to the touch, which adds to the overall durability and strength, but it’s also one of those materials that looks even better the more you use it. Overall: PA612-CF15 filament is a fantastic choice for anyone needing durable, strong, and heat-resistant 3D prints. It’s best suited for functional prototypes, automotive parts, or anything that requires robust mechanical properties. While it takes a little effort to get the settings just right, the results are definitely worth it for demanding applications. Rating: 4.7/5 Pros: High strength, excellent durability, easy post-processing, great finish Cons: Requires careful calibration, can cause wear on nozzles, difficult to print with for beginners ... show more

  • Amazing filament!
Color: Fiberon Petg-rcf 0.5kg Black Size: 0.5kg New Packaging
This stuff prints like a dream on my Bambu Labs A1 with AMS Lite. It looks absolutely fantastic. I did dry this filament for about 6hrs at 50°C just in case it was damp from the factory. It might have been perfectly dry when I received it, but I wanted to give it the best chance, so I dried it anyways. This filament is supposed to have less stringing than regular PETG, and that was what I found to be true. I had no stringing whatsoever. As I said earlier though, I did dry the filament prior to using it. This filament is not recommended to be used on the Bambu Labs AMS Lite due to it being slightly abrasive and the filament is more brittle than regular PETG or PLA (you can easily snap the filament with your fingers), but I tried it and had no issues with filament breakage in the AMS Lite, even with multicolor prints. I ran both Bambu Lab config tests and decided to up the K-factor to 0.05 and leave the flow rate at the default for the "Generic PETG-CF" profile that comes with Bambu Studio (which is 0.95 flow rate). I printed multiple models on the Textured PEI plate, 70°C bed temp, 260-265°C hotend, and all of it was perfect right off the bed. I did slow the print speeds down to 200mm/s for walls/infill and 70mm/s for over hangs. 5%-40% max part cooling fan. I did not have any clogs or issues feeding the filament through the standard 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle. Don't use the regular stainless steel 0.4mm nozzle; the filament it too abrasive and will widen the nozzle slowly over time. ... show more

  • Strong, Clean Prints – Great for Functional Parts
Color: Fiberon Petg-rcf 0.5kg Black Size: 0.5kg New Packaging
Polymaker absolutely crushed it with Fibron. This filament is on a whole different level. Not only does it print like a dream—smooth extrusion, zero stringing, no jams—but the final result is solid. The strength and durability are seriously impressive, making it perfect for functional parts that actually need to take a beating. The surface finish is clean and professional-looking, almost like it was injection molded. I used it to print a few mechanical components, and they came out strong, precise, and ready to use right off the bed. If you're looking for a filament that combines reliability, strength, and premium aesthetics, Fibron is 100% worth it. I’ve been blown away—and I’m already planning my next project with it. ... show more

  • PPS-CF10 Expensive but Strong, Easy to Print
Color: 100 - Fiberon Pps-cf10 1.75mm Black 0.5k... Size: 0.5kg New Packaging
PPS-CF10. The filament came dry out of the box and it is easy to print at 320C/90C, 10mm3. Very good bed adhesion at 80-90C on textured PEI with no glue, 100C almost too much adhesion. Since I have a heated chamber, I used it, but manufacturer says that heated chamber is not necessary. However, filament should be handled very carefully as it is very stiff, has rough surface, and it is extremely brittle, so ensure you have as straight path to extruder as possible. At this point I have only completed some test prints, and small parts, and I have not encountered any warping. One important mention is Polymaker's great support (I have used email). They are very responsive, they attempt to understand what you need, and will find the information if you have a specific question. In my case, I wanted to confirm that the filament has properties of an insulator despite having CF content. Per TDS, Surface Resistivity ANSI ESD S11.1, >10^12 Ω. The value is confirmed by the support and by my own measurements. ... show more
