This little thing is so cool... I purchased it for myself as a city commuter vehicle (light grocery pickup and other small errands), as I don't own a car and a lot of places are already within walking distance. It makes getting from Point A to Point B that much more comfortable and manageable, especially with the seat attachment and where walking might leave you shorter on time. Assembly is also not bad at all, and overall the scooter is pretty light (I believe the total package weight was 26lbs in-box). It comes with two little booklets that explain putting the scooter together, and a separate manual for attaching the seat & compartment. In terms of speed, I've only been comfortable going 11mph or so, but it caps out at around 19mph as advertised. The battery life is also pretty nice, and it really doesn't seem to take a long time to re-charge. The controls are easy to use... for example: you just hold the power button for three seconds to turn it on/off and press it once to turn on the headlamp/tail light while it's on. It also has an app that connects to it via bluetooth, which is pretty neat as you can control it with your phone and check out your usage statistics, among other things. Durability seems to be good, although some of the pieces are a bit flimsier-made and more plastic-y... but overall it seems well made. I think it's definitely worth the value (especially if you live in a city that's relatively easy to commute and are worried about gas expenses), and pretty inexpensive compared to a lot of other electric scooters based on what you get. I'll be ordering a second one in a few weeks, and giving this one to a friend of mine.

Update after 9 months: still working great. My demand on it has increased. I've been having to park downhill from my house and this thing still jets me up a long very steep hill at 16 mph. --- Like I said in the title, I'm a big guy at around 300 pounds. I use a scooter to transport around large work sites and for faraway bathrooms and faraway parking. I searched for at least a year reading reviews until I landed on this one. I'm thrilled. I half didn't expect it to take me up hills at all. I figured at this low of a price I could give it to my kid if it didn't work for me. Man was I pleasantly surprised. It took me up a loooong slope like it was nothing and didn't even drain the battery one percent. (It can't get me up really steep hills without my assistance though.) I can go 13 mph on a level street which feels prerty fast to me, I can't imagine wanting to go faster. I'd be curious to see how fast someone half my size could go. It's very sleek and well made. Folds nicely and is easy to carry and put in the back of my car. The app is cool - you connect via Bluetooth and you can lock it or change your max speed (like if I was gonna let my 65 pound kid ride it), and you can see the battery life. I got the extended 2 year warranty so I'm not overly worried about longevity. I've had to get another product repaired by Amazon's warranty service and they fixed it and sent it back fast.

Fun little riding toy for the price if you want the most miles you have to keep in an eco mode but in sports mode it still packs a punch for about 30 minutes for $180 I'd say it's worth it especially if it's for teenagers 13 through 16 only problem is battery dies quickly

It has plenty of power for getting around the neighborhood and the acceleration feels smooth and easy to control. The seat is a huge plus for longer rides, and I love that it doubles as a little storage box for carrying small things. The solid tires are also nice because I don’t have to worry about flats or checking tire pressure. It folds up quickly, doesn’t feel overly heavy, and is easy to put in the trunk when needed. The display is clear, the brakes feel responsive, and connecting to the app was pretty straightforward.

Turns out just to be a loose wire the wire that connects the battery to the wiring harness may be loose mine was glued together loosely and it was causing it to take longer to charge and then quit charging and all I had to do is take my finger nail and remove the im guessing silicone and then I smashed it together and I still have to re silicone it in place but it no longer gives me any problems and one other thing the handle bar bolts risk you hurting yourself I put two bolt all the way through the handle bars with nuts on the other side to attach my handle bars instead of the tiny m1 bolts that was a bad design but this thing is fast agile and has a amazing battery life I ride mine for almost a week everywhere I need to go and it barely uses any battery I never take it below three bars of battery I love the speedometer and the headlight and the working brake lights

Originally I would have given this scooter a high rating .but I bought three of these in April and it hasn't even been a year and two have extreme problems with steering. You turn the handle bar and yet the tire stays straight making this dangerous. For it to happen with one I would say just some kind of fluke but with two there seems to be a flaw of some sort. We loved these scooters at first and now are so disattified
