As a collector I am very very pleased I'm having to get caught up with 20 years worth of collecting that I went behind and this gave me some cards that I was able to use and a good 90% of them were not duplicates and what few that are I'm going to take them down to my local card shop and see if I could scrap up another handful out of that plus some of the other cards that I had that were duplicates from other purchases so that you know enables me to continue my collection this is the best route for me to buy cards because even though I love getting the booster packs and they're the best route to go to get the olive oils and etc but if you're catching up like I am why this is the best route to go and I wouldn't mind buying from this seller again especially because I'm trying to start from southern islands all the way up to the present and so forth so there's some gaps in my collection than they need to fill up and as far as going back to the base collection up to Southern Islands I'm only looking for holofoils so if I can't find them online through bulkpackaging like this. I don't mind riding the train down to salt lake to get them and so forth like that cuz right in the fast track is worth the trip and it's nice being able to not just hop on the train so anyways yeah this this is awesome and thank you to the seller high five and this I was naughty I got my Christmas early so it's it's nice cuz I'm kind of housebound and getting over surgery so this is keeping me from scratching where I don't need to scratch my belly but yeah I just had some surgery so using cards is is sorting through them is keeping my hands and brain occupied from you know I don't need to scratch anything got to heal that body thanks again! I noticed that there are some people that are disappointed with what they have but what they should do is in their town there should be a card store that buys gently used cards for instance here in Utah we have what's called entertainmart and in Tucson Arizona there's bookmans and also in Phoenix you can take those gently used cards down to the stores there they buy them the loose cards there's always somebody looking for loose cards and that's how I've been building my collection is it any loose cards I have I check my nephews to see if they want any and then also I take them down to entertainmart and trade them over for some other cards that they have that are loose so then that builds my collection so it you know these people that are complaining about all the duplicates they get they should either see if their friends need to trade or take them down to a place that buy it it does the trades just make sure you keep an spot condition you know excellent condition near me that is so then that way you get some other cards in place of them you know look at your cup as half full instead of half empty Thank you

First things first, I know nothing about Pokémon or collecting cards. I have a child who is into Pokémon cards meaning he likes sorting them comparing their stats etc. he cares much much less about foil finishes etc. (thank god!) This was a great way for him to get a lot of cards to help fill out his collection and fill up his binder. I didn’t count the actual number of cards but it was close enough to 1000 for what we cared about. You aren’t going to get super valuable cards here, but it also wasn't trash either. Some energy cards but it was mostly a wide variety of Pokémon creatures of various colors etc. bear in mind I know nothing (and don’t care about) common vs uncommon vs rare etc. I assume this is someone who picks out the more valuable cards and these are the “leftovers”. That was fine with me and it made My kid happy to get a huge amount of cards to file away and show off to his buddies and it is a lot cheaper than buying packs.

So I didn't received 1000 cards, I received 989. A lot of energy, a lot of duplicates, Almost all cards has double of the same or more. Had some cards 5 of the same kind. Cards are in pretty good condition, I did get some holo cards so that’s good. I’m giving it 3 stars because I did get some cards I needed and plus the holo. But like I said a lot of duplicates. Would have been 5 stars if it didn’t have so many duplicates.

Out of the entire set, there were 378 dupes. Didn't count the entire quantity but by weight and visual there does seem to be close to, if not exactly,1000 cards. Surprisingly, only 9 energy cards in the whole set (with 1 of that 9 being a dupe.) Quality of the cards were near-mint, with just two cards a bit more poor as they somehow stuck together and therefore tore slightly on the face or back where they got stuck. Nothing special, no holos, but a good way for beginners or kids to jump-start their collection. Was packaged in a card box and would have liked the tin that I saw on a different review, but can't complain as the cards arrived safely and undamaged.

Let me start off by saying this has zero holographic cards of any kind. But that’s not to say it wasn’t worth the purchase. I received a total of 960 cards (4% missing but whatevs) My breakdown is: 662 Unique Pokemon cards and 210 dupes 48 Item Trainer cards and 5 dupes 21 supporter cards and 3 dupes 4 poke tool cards 4 special energy cards 3 stadium cards Irrelevant: I have probably 15000 cards but I was pleasantly surprised that 439 of these were new to me!

A lot of duplicates! No holographics and no rare cards! I wasn’t expecting sir’s, ir’s or full arts but I also wasn’t expecting a lot of throw away cards that I would just give to kids or cut up for arts and krafts. If you just want cards to give to kids or just to fill up a binder then yeah it’s good but not if you’re looking for anything valuable.

I'm always leery of repacks like this, but in my case it was a winner. Cards are played but in very good condition. I got a total of 978 cards (okay I know it says 1000 but it is entirely possible that I missed a few in my count and I would imagine it's all done by weight anyway). Of these, there were 283 unique Pokemon, 67 total trainers and 48 energy. The rest were duplicate Pokemon, with no more than 9 duplicates of any one card. My cataloguing software estimates the value at $168. Of course you likely couldn't sell them for anything near that price, but it still seems to be a very good value overall. This is a fantastic way to get someone started with Pokemon, particularly at a moment when speculators are hoarding booster packs. I really feel sorry for kids these days that can't afford to put together a basic set to play with friends - this does that and includes some decent cards for future trading.
