  • Don't buy used
Style: Booster Box
My box arrived sealed and in perfect shape. Not the best pulls but tis the nature of the game. And even still, it'll never be a total loss with these boxes

  • Overly Priced Set of Reprints!
Style: Single Pack
This is indeed an overly Priced Set of Reprints. But I'm glad I picked it up when I could.

  • these boxes seem to have a lot of value in reprints. The box I opened was no different.
Style: Booster Box
When products like these first come available to preorder-thats the time you should jump on them to lock in the good price(on Amazon). Do not wait till day of release or after, this is when hype jumps the price up. I was able to get my box at a realistic price and for that all my decent pulls were elevated because it only took a few to make back the price of the box, everything after that is gravy! This set especially though because of the reprints which gives the chance to pull multiple value cards in each pack. Best of luck! Don't play the lottery if you can't waist the $$. Because you're better going into it thinking you'll get nothing rather than your money back. ... show more

  • Great Pulls!
Style: Single Pack
I just bought only one of these packs for fun and managed to pull a Phyrexian Altar! So it definitely well over paid for my booster pack. I feel like these packs are worth it for the price of $14.99. If it increases above that price though I feel like you'd be definitely taking a gamble and might not be fully worth it at that point. But then again that's what it is in general. It's all about luck of the draw. I think it's a great pack to get though. Big thumbs up! 👍 ... show more

  • Wizard's Dropped the Ball... Again... and Again... and Again...
Style: Booster Box
You know what this box cost before the card list was spoiled? $255. You know what the cheapest price you can find the box for now? $345, and I'm sure this price will look comically low in a few years time. Ladies and gentleman, this is what you get when MSRP is abolished. This set offers tons of important reprints that players of any format will appreciate, and the price of singles is tanking as a result, which is perfect for anyone looking for a handful of cards to slot into their existing decks. But for players that enjoy the draft experience, or just enjoy cracking packs? Cough up some serious dough, because stores are using the limited print nature of this set to squeeze you dry. When you're looking at an average price of $14-15 per pack, and you open up a junk rare, which is common when the set has close to 200 rares and mythics, you are going to feel crushed. I bought this box at the preorder price and I still don't think I broke even. If you want to draft, take that $300 and buy three draft boxes of the last three sets: Kamigawa, New Capenna, and Baldur's Gate. You will get three unique drafting environments with new cards, as opposed to cards you've seen before. If you want specific cards, buy singles. They've never been cheaper. If you want to invest, try a Series I Savings Bond. They're currently at 9.6% interest rate. If you want to gamble, you will be miserable. Take that $300 and purchase the most expensive card in the set and call it a day. Don't think for a second that you will be one of the lucky ones. Do not buy this box for anything above $255, if you ever see that price again. Don't delude yourself into thinking this product is worth the money. The supply is kept purposefully vague to induce impulsive spending, and Hasbro (Wizard's parent company) is given more reason than ever to raise box prices with each new set because people are rabid enough to throw away $400 for 24 booster packs, or worse: $300 for 4. ... show more

  • Double Masters - expensive, but great cards
Style: Booster Box
Double Masters is an amazing set, but it can be quite expensive. I found it to be a very fun set to open, but if you are looking for specific cards, please order singles. If you are interested in opening some cards however, this set has a lot going for it. The set was fun to draft, so if you pick it up, I recommend drafting the set, even if it's just with friends with you keeping all the cards - get twice the enjoyment out of a box. It's the best way to open boxes. ... show more

  • A Lot of Fun Cracking Packs
Style: Single Pack
I've bought 4 packs through Amazon. It's definitely a bit of a gamble—but not one with terrible odds. One pack's contents weren't worth the $14 I paid for it. For two of the packs I about broke even. And from one of them I got Teferi's Protection and the borderless foil Allosaurus Shepherd—so about $70 value in that pack alone. I've opened a few more at a draft event but got less out of the draft than I would have spent to open that many packs, so I can say from experience that not evey experience is going to be positive financially. Still, this is a lot of fun, and I'm going to actually use some of these cards in my Commander decks, so I say it's worth it both from the practical standpoint and the financial one. ... show more

  • Super fun to open
Style: Booster Box
This is a fantastic product for someone like me. I've played magic forever and still like the feeling of opening packs and finding cool cards. This set delivered on that. I think you'd have a hard time not finding the value in the singles you pull either. I've opened a case worth of booster boxes and only found one that I would say under delivered, but the rest more than made up for it. This is also quite fun to draft. If I were to make any complaint, it's that it's more focused on drafting than value, so some packs feel like super losers as you open them 1 at a time. ... show more
