  • Great for beginner collectors or casual deck building
Honestly, this assortment was better than I expected given the caveats in the description of the assortment including "regular and energy cards", as well as the disclaimer that duplicates may occur. I decided to go for it anyway and bought 3 packs. So, what did I get? First, I got 1 small bundle pack of 56 cards and a large bundle pack that contained 105 cards, for a total of 161 cards. Of those 161, only 8 cards were duplicates to a single deck. when put together, I only came across 5 more duplicates between the three, so good variety imo. I will also note, I only got 1 energy card! Whats the selection like? The cards were primarily from SV 151 and SV Paldea Evolved. There was also Paldan Fates, Obsidian Flame, and SV1. From SWSH, there was a smaller number of Astral Radiance, Lost Origin, and Silver Tempest. As others mentioned, there were no foils or anything "special". Cards came as expected in a "near mint condition", were packaged well in a bubble mailer, and I really can't think of any complaints. Would be great for someone who is just getting into Pokemon or who needs to buy in bulk for some reason, like crafts or the like. The price was also pretty great on these, considering even with duplicates, I got a nice assortment of cards I didn't have in my collection for less than 3 booster packs at the game store. As shown, upon closer examination while sorting, I did find one card that seems a bit suss. Nothing about any of the other cards leads me to believe they are fakes (but I do admit, I don't collect for value just for fun and enjoyment of the art and the game). ... show more

  • good for price.
wasn’t really looking for rares, just trying to get my collection started. for what you pay this serves that purpose, probably. not tooooooo many dupes and not too much energy in my pack either.

  • We were pleasantly surprised
After reading the reviews we accepted it was a 50/50 shot for getting a good variety. We recently started collecting cards to play with our five year old and figured it was worth a shot. We each got a pack and were pleasantly surprised to see very few of the cards were trainer/item/energy cards, with little to no duplicates in our individual packs or between our packs overall. We spent a few combined hours all together going through our individual packs, looking through them with each other, trading and then playing games together when we can throughout the day. It’s been great bonding and we love seeing all the different art and how good he’s getting at negotiating and working with numbers. I really meant to take photos, but we immediately played with them and have since traded and mixed them in our little personal collections. We’re really glad we ordered them though and after seeing such mixed reviews wanted to share that we had a positive experience and are glad we gave it chance ... show more

  • Pokemon TCG: Random Cards from Every Series, 50 Cards in Each Lot - A Mixed Bag
I recently purchased the Pokemon TCG: Random Cards from Every Series, 50 Cards in Each Lot, and my experience falls in the middle ground, warranting a three-star review. Here's a breakdown of my observations: **Pros:** 1. **Variety in Series:** The promise of cards from every series is delivered upon. I appreciated the diverse mix of cards, spanning various generations of Pokemon, which added an element of nostalgia and excitement. 2. **Quantity in Each Lot:** The inclusion of 50 cards in each lot offers a decent quantity for collectors or players looking to expand their collection without breaking the bank. It provides a good starting point for those who enjoy the surprise element of random cards. 3. **Potential for Rare Finds:** The randomness of the cards introduces an element of surprise, and there's a chance of discovering rare or holographic cards. This unpredictability adds a layer of thrill to each lot. **Cons:** 1. **Condition Discrepancies:** While some cards were in excellent condition, there were noticeable discrepancies in the conditions of others. A few cards showed signs of wear, including creases and frayed edges, which was disappointing for collectors aiming for pristine cards. 2. **Limited Playability:** For those who are not solely collectors but also players, the random assortment may result in a lack of synergy or playability in constructing decks. It's a gamble whether the cards received will contribute meaningfully to one's gameplay strategy. 3. **Potential for Duplicates:** In my experience, there were instances of receiving duplicate cards within the same lot. While duplicates are common in randomized sets, the frequency was higher than expected and diminished the excitement of discovery. 4. **Lack of Packaging Information:** The cards arrived without specific information on the packaging regarding the series or sets included. This made it challenging to identify the origin of certain cards, particularly for collectors who appreciate categorization. 5. **No Guarantee of Rare Cards:** While the potential for rare finds is mentioned as a pro, the flip side is the lack of a guarantee. Some lots may not contain any exceptionally rare or valuable cards, which could be a letdown for those hoping for standout additions to their collection. In summary, the Pokemon TCG: Random Cards from Every Series, 50 Cards in Each Lot, offers a mixed experience. The variety and quantity are commendable, but the condition discrepancies, playability challenges, and the potential for duplicates create a somewhat unpredictable and inconsistent outcome. It's a suitable option for collectors seeking a diverse assortment but may leave some players or enthusiasts wanting more consistency and value. ... show more

  • Pokemon
All 50 cards, but was a little sad. The listing says it's random cards, but it was organized by type. While im happy to grow my small pokemon collection, I was expecting the excitement of pulling rare or EXs

  • Random bulk with few reverse halos
These are commons and a few reverse halo cards. There were several cards from about ten different sets of Sword and Shield and Scarlet and Violet. I was unable to use any of them (none being sets I'm collecting) my risk, it would be better to know what sets of bulk cards are in these such as Crown Zenith, Temporal Forces, Battle Styles, etc. All were in great condition and there was no duplicates or energy cards. ... show more
