I like the complete system. I had a couple issues I just couldn't figure out. After texting with customer support I got the answer I needed. Camera work at -4 degrees f. Now I am very happy with the system. I only wish there was a very detailed manual. Other than that, I am pleased. I would give 5 star if there was a detailed manual. With so many systems out there it's tough to make a decision. I like this system because it is wired so I don't have to worry about charging cameras or losing connection. It used ethernet cables which also power the cameras (PoE... Power Over Ethernet). The included wire is generally enough for most applications but you can easily buy longer cords if required. The cameras proved good picture quality and while it's not as good as some commercial level systems it is very good and offers lots of nice features including spotlight, 2-way audio, motion alarms all in a compact design. They provide a nice wide 113 degree viewing angle without too much distortion. The 2TB NVR is super compact and completely silent which is not the case with many others. 2TB is not ideal for storing a lot of video and I would like to see at least 4TB to provide the most hours of storage for review. Setup is easy and following the on-screen prompts had it setup in about 10 minutes. I'm still testing with a handful of cameras before installing in our barn but it's been nice so far. The alerts get a little annoying and the app isn't the most intuitive but the alerts are configurable and the app is ok once you get used to it. I would like to be able to fast forward while watching the video instead of it skipping ahead, but that's pretty common even with more expensive systems. The onboard app is also pretty good and a bit more intuitive, in my opinion, than the app. I can't find specifications on the frame rate of the live view or the recorded footage, but it appears it may be 15fps (frames per second) which is ample and allows pausing to view detail even with an object in motion. The main NVR unit needs to be plugged into your network router with a cable so be sure your desired installation point has access to your router or a mesh endpoint and consider this when calculating the cable distances required to run to the cameras. ... show more

We recently purchased the PoE Security Camera System with 4K 8CH NVR and 8Pcs 4MP Outdoor Surveillance IP Cameras, and I have been extremely impressed with its performance. The 4K resolution provides incredibly sharp and clear video footage, and the 2TB HDD offers ample storage space for continuous recording. The F1.0 Color Night Vision feature is outstanding, as it delivers vivid and detailed images even in low-light conditions. The human/vehicle detection capability is a great addition, as it helps filter out false alarms and only alerts me to relevant motion events. Furthermore, the IP67 waterproof rating ensures that the cameras can withstand harsh weather conditions, providing reliable outdoor surveillance. This is such a great set of wired security cameras! I have been needing some for a while for our backyard space and front yard space, and these definitely get the job done! Not only are these super well made and sturdy, but they are also weatherproof as well and they have stood up well to the recent storms in our area. They came very well packed and secured in the box so there was no damage whatsoever to any of the cameras or any of the components. These came with a manual as well that was very easy to read and understand so my husband was able to have these up and running in no time! I was actually very impressed by how well these work as well. The picture on them is actually super clear and you can tell exactly what is walking through the frame. The night vision on these is excellent as well as the motion detection! I love that we can easily be alerted as to anything moving through the frame, and it gives very accurate alerts in terms of letting you know if there's any intrusion indicators or crossing your property lines. This even includes a strobe light and siren so if anyone wants to try to trespass it will seem like it is going to alert the Police and definitely give someone a scare. This also has two way talking so you can both hear someone and speak back to them via the cameras. Honestly this is super high quality especially for the price! When you compare this with other camera sets this one is definitely the elite version in terms of functionality and price. We could not be happier with this and would definitely recommend if you are looking for a good wired security system! Got to give this a 10/10 ... show more
