I bought this for under 40 bucks and I was exactly what I hoped it would be. It was very well made. The black wood was very attractive. Felt sold. Shelves came out I see no need to ever take one out. It’s a bit heavy but comes with good mounting hardware. Did not feel cheap in any way. Had real glass in it. The double locks work great but don’t actually lock which is okay by me. Snap shut well… The only thing negative I can say is you will not get 28 knives in the case. My knives were too large to double stack. The knives would have to be very skinny to do that. I’m more than fine with that, wouldn’t wish for a larger case. I thought the size was perfect. I got maybe 17 or 18 in the case with 2 or three on each shelf. I’m glad I bought this one and not one of the more expensive ones I saw on here. I can’t imagine they could be better than this one. ... show more

Excellent quality & workmanship, and came well-packed. Compact against the wall but depth and 2 grooves/shelf allow doubling up thinner knives. Bought 1, then ordered 2 more. ... show more

It’s a nice box but not very well designed says it’s 28 knives I barely got 14 in. I don’t know what type of 28 knives they are talking about but the knives I got don’t fit. Butter knives probably, I don’t know
