Finally had time to clone my dell g15 NVME to this drive and tested it. Hitting 3300 mb/s, not even half of the advertised speed. UPDATE After troubleshooting and researching I have found my Dell 5511 is a big pile of false advertisement. It claims that slot 0 M.2 Is Gen 4, but myself and it seems everyone else on the internet can only get Gen 3 speeds on any NVME. While plenty fast, this is not going to be the fastest in the world. Those comments never age well. I've posted a DiskMark to show what the speed is after two months of daily use. It is quite close to the speed advertised for read, but the write speed it pretty far off being close to 1gb under the advertised speed. I have other SSDs from Samsung and Silicon Power, and this one from PNY is the only one pretty far off the advertised speeds. My 1 tb Silicon Power NVME was only 50mb off on read and 100mb off on write after a few months of use. If the read speeds were closer to the advertised totals (even within 300mb) I would not have gigged them for a star. However, even though it is pretty far off on write speed, the overall user experience is not impacted very much and it is still a pretty dang fast SSD. Given the other reviewers posting their DiskMark scores, it does appear there is quite a bit of silicon lottery involved with the total performance you may receive. ... show more

Great SSD with 4TB. It works great on the PS5. I installed it on my PS5 and it has been amazing. No longer do I have to worry about managing video games such as Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassin's Creed Valhalla, or Grand Theft Auto 5 which all are above 70 GB. The standard internal PS5 has 500 GB of memory. With 4 TB, this SSD has all the memory I will ever need for PS5 games. No longer do I have to constantly Uninstaller and reinstall video games to manage the amount possible by the standard internal memory. The speeds it offers for an SSD drives have met all expectations for the PS5. Matter of fact, loading times for games have improved. So far I am extremely happy with this purchase and would recommend it for anyone looking for an SSD to add to the PS5. The product is worth it. I was lucky enough to purchase it during an Amazon Daily sale. For a 4TB SSD it has good speed in comparison to other 4TB SSD products. I am now thinking about getting another for my laptop. All in all, if you are looking to expand the amount of memory for your Playstation 5, this one is a winner. Note: If it is being purchased for use on the Playstation 5, a (separate product) heatsink that fits into the PS5 expansion bay along with this excellent Solid State Drive is required. Storage is exactly what is advertised. Read is just barely above PS5 requirements at 5568. I got this one knowing you'll not get what any SSD card says is their highest speed but wasn't expecting almost 2000 slower to just barely meet the requirements I need. I have only put about 2 GB of games on it and played one of them. Never I have I experienced pauses in the video until playing from this SSD card so that's why I gave it lower ratings on gaming. Not sure I'll put any Battle Royal games on the SSD card after what I have seen already with barely any storage space on it..... What will happen when there's more storage on it? Will the pausing get worse? Right now it's just every once in awhile so it's not happening a lot. But will that change later? ... show more
