So I had to replace my GTX 980Ti that literally went out with a bang the other day while I was playing Halo Infinite. I really wasn’t prepared to spend a ton of cash on a video card so I just went with a this RTX 3050. This card performs about the same as my GTX 980Ti but supports newer features like DLSS and Raytracing. As another reviewer mentioned there are more expensive 3050s on the market with factory overclocks that will perform slightly better out of the box. However, this card can be manually overclocked using afterburner if you really want a little bit more performance without spending the extra cash. The cooler on this card is solid and the backplate is nice. Overall I am happy with this purchase and would recommend it to any gamer on a super tight budget. The bummer of buying any budget graphics card is longevity. I got something like 6 years of use out of my GTX 980Ti but will have to replace this RTX 3050 card again in a year or two because older budget cards just can’t keep up with new games like the expensive cards can. Guess there is an RTX 5080Ti in my future. Buying this 3050 only delayed the inevitable expense of purchasing another super expensive flagship card. ... show more

    • NOT a Gaming card!!!

Not a gaming card as presented, without the Power port on the card any triple A Game which requires over 75 Watts will force flashing this is NOT A Manufacturing defect, but more of an engineering design flaw being falsely pushed as a Gaming GPU that can not perform for the intended purpose which makes it useless unless you just need a Video Card for your PC but aren't interested in actually playing AAA Games... Think long and hard once you got it, this is what it is, it is verifiable through the most minor amount of research at this point however when I purchased the card for the very same games it was promoted to run and can not without the flashing and stress to my Gigabyte Z790 motherboard and components directly affected by the PCIe bus which of course is all of them, and a 650 Watt Gold PSU. Warranty ignores this, they know what they made, they know the limitations but at the same time are diverting from having a recall to add the power port that would make this card a actual Gaming GPU that works as intended, but no Both PNY & Amazon with all the information chooses to divert and play ping-pong to troubleshoot a product with a clearly apparent known, verifiable engineering flaw. Make sure your GPU has power ports, make sure you have a solid power supply and motherboard, but the power port and supply to it is the most important to make it operate properly in any PC, but without that power port, you are limited to lower tier games such as minecraft and roblox as they do not require nearly as much to run. ... show more
