The brightness was better than I expected for the price and it really is convenient to have a plug in if you aren't an electrician! If you are on the fence about these lights, and need some for a closet or area to plug into, I'd recommend it.

This 2PACK Plug in Wall Sconce, OOWOLF Wall Lights Set is just what I was looking for. They are nice looking and were easy for this old senior to assemble. We installed them with just a phillips head screw driver and a drill, with bit (to make holes for the hollow wall anchors). It came with hollow wall anchors and screws, which we used to mount them. I like that these lamps are dimmable, if you use E25 dimmable bulbs. Bulbs are not included. They can be used as a night light at their dimmest and are very bright, at their highest point. This light set comes with attached cord to plug into a wall outlet, but they can also be direct wired. The one thing I didn’t like was the location of the switches. They are located just above and behind the lamp shades. I can’t reach them unless I stand up, because the lamp shade is in the way of the switch. The lights are turned on by twisting the switch to the right, to the brightness that you want. To turn off, turn it left until it clicks off. ... show more

For the most part these are good. These were just a little too rustic for my taste. I expected the lamp pieces (black shades) to be more delicate, better quality. The wood and the mounts are good. I just didn’t think that they look as slick as they look in the pictures, especially since we’re using in a bedroom. ... show more

These look much better in the photos, which are misleading. You can’t see the cords in the photos: they look like they are hard wired. The copy is correct - they are corded. That’s great for ease of installation, but in reality the cord looks sloppy. I set one up and wound up taking it down right away as I thought it didn’t look good.
