Description

The Triumph Big Shot II Double Shootout is the ideal choice for competitive head-to-head arcade basketball. Featuring large 1.5” diameter poles and durable metal rims, its sturdy frame construction is built to last and take on vigorous game play. LED electronic scoring with a time clock keeps track of the action for 8 different games. Easily start and stop games and navigate between game modes using the included control panel at the base of the shootout. The Big Shot II’s electronics have a dynamic and flexible dual power system that allow you to play using the included AC adapter, or break free from the electrical outlet and play anywhere with a battery-powered option (3 AA batteries not included). The set arrives ready to play with 4 basketballs and a pump and needle. When finished playing, the frame folds and locks into place for easy storage when not in use (39.5” L x 49” W x 81” H). Got this for my sons 10th birthday but has turned into a gift for all of us. It took my (very handy) husband about an hour to assemble and there was a 6-8 inch crack on the headboard when it arrived. We decided not to worry about it and finish assembling anyway. This thing is so much fun and surpassed my expectations. We even have a scorecard to record highest 30 or 60 second scores since we all play it so much and have gotten competitive with each other! It took a while to get this put together but it is very sturdy and solid. The nets are made of chain and the balls feel like real basketballs! At first the control panel didn't work correctly but it seems to now. I chose this one for my husband because of the reviews about quality and because of the dimensions. It is short enough to fit in our basement where the ceilings are only 8 feet tall. And it is wide enough for two adult men to play without crowding each other. ... show more

    • Great game if everything worked
Set up is easy with 2 people. Balls Lose air very quickly and needs to be refilled each time we go to play. When we got everything set up and were ready to go the score board did not work. We even went out and bought new batteries to make sure it was not the ones we had at home. I have emailed the company and I am waiting on a response. The structure itself is very solid and well made. Hopefully we can resolve the scoreboard issue quickly. As for the balls, I will be looking to replace them with another product. ... show more

I was really a bit nervous about ordering this product because of the reviews but I'm here to tell everyone that my package came perfectly fine not harmed. The setting up took about 2-3 hours but after it was done I was satisfied and so was my son who hasn't stopped playing with it since it got built. He's seventeen and this game can be fun for the whole family. He plays with his friends all the time and never gets bored. Even his father enjoys it and he couldn't stop playing. So for those looking to buy this I'm here to confirm that I received no missing pieces, nothing damaged, and everything working properly. ... show more

    • Good size, sturdy 2 Lane Basketball Game, does take 2 people to assemble.
This unit seems to be a very nice home arcade game. My grandkids love it and so do the adults. I've only had it in use for a few days so the long term durability hasn't been proven. I am always a little apprehensive about the electronics on games like this. If the scoring system / controls go down then much of the fun is lost. The games construction is pretty robust. I like the size of it as it is wider than a lot of two lane basketball games I've seen. The tubing is pretty sturdy. The main reason I didn't give 5 stars was the quality of the assembly instructions. One illustration had two parts swapped and there were (4) screws that the instructions gave a part number for but they weren't in the fastener card but were in a small bag without any identification taped inside the electronic score board module. I'm glad I searched and saw the little bag. It is the screws that assemble the electronic score display module with the backboard in the middle. The instructions could have also been clearer about how to put the fabric ramp and side guards on. I did figure everything out and it did take a few hours to totally get it together but it works great and is a lot of fun! ... show more

We purchased this for our son`s 6th birthday! We were a little skeptical after reading reviews on this product, but are very pleased with the quality! My husband set it up mostly by himself in only an hour and a half. However, we set it up at 10pm and by 6am the next day, 2 of the 4 balls had lost a lot of air and the pump broke. I contacted the company and they sent 2 replacement balls and a new ( better quality) pump and extra needle within 2 days!! We are very pleased with this product because of the durablility of the poles and for the price (although it is listed at a cheaper price now, 2 weeks later). Received it on Christmas Eve and put it togetther for Christmas. Took about 1 1/2 hours to do by myself but would've been a little faster with someone to help hold pieces while screwing together. The instructions were a little unclear and missed a step or two through the process so I would recommend looking though the instructions before you start so you don't have to backtrack. Set was also missing one wingnut but it doesn't affect the game and I will pick one up from Home Depot today. Has 8 games but a couple are redundant. Very pleased. ... show more
