I ordered this for my niece & nephew bc this set is absolutely perfect for both boys & girls. The only difference is the colors & luckily both my niece & nephew like purple. My nephew plays t ball & my niece always wants to play too so I thought this would be a great inexpensive way to let her play around & to see if she actually likes the sport or if she just wants to imitate her big brother. Either way it makes for a great gift that will definitely get lots of use. This set is cool bc it bc it can be used multiple ways ie hanging & standing tee as well as the automatic launcher which is the coolest feature in my opinion. It’s really easy to put together & to change from 1 setup to another. Kids tend to be really hard on toys at this age so I’m not really sure how long it’ll last but I think it’ll get plenty of use prior to falling apart. My guess is the ball launcher will be the 1st to go which sucks bc that’s one of the features that sets it apart. If I see weak points as this gets more use, I’ll edit my review ... show more

My son absolutely loved this set! We're thrilled with the purchase and already got our money's worth in one day. The set has multiple components and setups for different ages and stages of skill. The balls are plastic covered in fabric and they stick to the "tee" with velcro. The whole thing can be stored togeher with a little place to put the bat. The smaller springy-thing is kind of hilarious and pops up like a pogo stick, which our older niece and nephew got a kick out of. It also works remarkably well to have the ball pop up so you can hit it like at a gentler batting cage. Was easy to set up and well designed. Wholeheartedly recommend! ... show more

    • Good Training Set For Young Kids - Some Parts Don't Stand Up To Use

This set has great options to help my grandsons improve their batting skills. The bat and balls are lightweight, but worked really well for training. We were having fun with it, but the 5 year old had more power than control and hit the pipe supporting the tee and cracked it. Had to cut the pipe down to fix it From then on had him hit the ball with the velcro hanger that supports the ball from above. This worked well even and let him improve his batting. The piece that pops up the ball to allow them to hit it in the air needs to be on a hard surface to work reliably. It is a great training aid and my grandsons really had a blast playing with it. It's a great concept, but the tee needs to be beefed up to stand up to kids' use. ... show more

This was purchased for 4&5 year old T-ball. Balls do not stick to velcro, when used as a T it tipped over with every hit even if the ball was only hit. Had to use a sandbag to stop it from falling over. Pop up unit/hit works well with plastic balls only. But is an effective learning tool. Buy a Tball unit with rubber home plate. ... show more
