4.0 out of 5 stars So far so good
Color: White
I bought this to replace a different timed grow light, which gave out not even a year after I bought it. This one is very nice so far. I appreciate that there are removable sections to add to or subtract from the height. When it turns on or off, it does so softly, and has a nice dimming feature if you need it. The timer works well, and doubles as a "you've stayed up too late again" alarm for me, since I have it set to turn on at midnight. The only reason I took off a star was that I really wish there was a way to route the cord down through the pipe and the base, so that I didn't have to wrap it around the lamp all the way to the base. ... show more

2.0 out of 5 stars Nothing special
Color: Black
I've had this lamp for about a month now.. have not seen any benefits with helping my fiddle plant grow. I will give it 2 stars at the minimum bc of its height and automatic timer.

2.0 out of 5 stars VERY MISLEADING
Color: White
Note that there is not one photo that shows the cord on this. It does not run inside the support pole. It hangs outside of it and looks sloppy. Sellers shouldn't be allowed to misrepresent their product in photos.

4.0 out of 5 stars Tall!
Color: White
I somehow missed the 63" part. It's very tall, but I was able to reduce it somewhat, figure to about 40". I wish it could go lower but I can't figure out how do that (if I even can). The light seems good, its definitely very bright, and the controls are just as advertised

Ha! Get it? my inch plant cuttings were not getting enough light...this was the solution. The light is very bright (usual brightness settings and timer, etc) with an adjustable neck that goes right to where I needed it. AC power only (no USB option with this one) but glad to report that the adapter didn't register any type of heat after being plugged in a few hours. ... show more

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for my Plants!
Color: Black
I've been looking for a stylish and effective lamp for my office to help give my plants some much needed light. The plants really help me tap into my creative side which I need in my office, but it has been difficult to keep plants healthy in that space. This lamp has made a huge difference and really improved the health of my plants. The light has a unique design that also looks great in my office space. The height of it helps get the necessary light my hanging plants need as well. I have used the different functions depending on the life stage of the plants I have at the time. It does seem to enhance the growing and maintenance process depending on the mode it is set on. The timer works great so I can set it and forget it. Overall, this lamp has been a huge asset to my creative writing space and helped my plants thrive in the office environment! ... show more

5.0 out of 5 stars Wobbly Base but effective grow light
Color: Black
I liked most everything about this. especially the timer. I had to move my plants from the sunny room because the sunny room is all windows, and can get too cold for many species. Now they can get the light they need in the warmer bedrooms of my home.
