Come with EVERYTHING you need for install. Wire is quality, controls are quality, unit itself is heavy and feels well constructed. Absolutely BUMPs in my 2001 forester under the passenger seat at like half volume. It does sound good for an small, shallow, subwoofer. While the product advertises 800w Max, that number is only for the subwoofer, not the built-in amplifier. The amp only has a 20amp fuse installed which physically limits the max output to roughly 240w. You will not pull or peak more than that. That said, 240w max (120w RMS) is plenty for this combo. The amp surprisingly has a good number of sound features to really modify the sound to your liking. The wiring kit is definitely overkill. Most aftermarket head units utilize the tiny factory wiring for their 200w max built-in amps. This sub should need no more. Don't waste your money. Bought this on my wife's account. Brought it to a guy that installs systems, alarms etc. He looked at it then looked at the fuse. Looked at me and said straight up. You not going to get anything more than you already have in your vechile already no extra bass are sound. I didn't have the time to do it myself. I ended up hooking it up. He was absolutely right. No extra even though it says 800 watts. I get the same sound out of my factory speakers I already have in my jeep. This is junk don't waste your money on it. Packed it back up sent it back for a refund. Definitely false advertisement. Ill pay the few few hundred to get the sound I want and get the real 800 watts I m looking dor ... show more

This little sub is really nice. The sound is clean and works very well with smaller interiors like my Impreza. It is highly adjustable and fits perfectly under a seat. It comes with everything you need to install and provides the much needed depth of sound with any stock or aftermarket set-up.

Not impressed at all! Actually disappointed as he'll! Paid professional to install and the first words out of his mouth when he handed my keys was "it's not very loud". I first installed this I'm my truck, I thought I'd get a bit more bass out of my music, to be fair my truck already had a Bose system, so unfortunately it didn't work out. I did have the intention to install this in my commuter which only has a simple factory 4 speaker system. So I did just that and what a difference. This is a lower budget speaker and for what it cost it's a great deal, this puts out equivalent bass to my truck, the quality isn't there as far as clear bass but for overall I definitely recommend. The key was to get a bit more base without having to dump $$$ on a system. I'm definitely happy about my car now, makes my commutes more enjoyable. ... show more

Happy with range and performance, and the aluminum construction is sturdy. Placed under the rear seat of a 1998 Jeep Wrangler TJ that didn’t have the stock subwoofer in the center console. Ran the 4 wires in a 1/2” wire loom on the interior driver’s side from the battery and stereo (don’t forget to splice in the remote wire (blue one) on the back of the stereo as the subwoofer needs that to recognize the power on sequence. I didn’t use the additional min/max control unit (it’s optional) as I didn’t want more stuff on the dash. Set up the unit for the low pass, and I did place an inline 10 Amp fuse in the power line as I had several from another project. Earth shattering low frequency bass? No, but it truly has enough to fill in the gaps of the other speakers that just don’t quite get there. Make sure you mind the 180 push-down button as when in the wrong position it sounds like a V-Twin was idling nearby. For the money not a bad option at all. ... show more
