I've been struggling with teeth grinding and jaw clenching for years now, especially at night. My dentist recommended trying a night guard to protect my teeth, so I decided to give these disposable ones a shot. Here are my thoughts after using them for about a year: Pros: - Fit comfortably in my mouth and don't cause pain or bite reflex like some bulkier custom night guards I've tried - Mold to my teeth well without having to dip in hot water - Protect my teeth from grinding and clenching throughout the night - Much more affordable than getting a custom night guard from my dentist which would cost hundreds - Get multiple uses out of each one if you change them regularly and don't wear them out completely - Simple and easy to use - just open the package and pop in your mouth before bed - Company (DenTek) is reputable and focuses on quality oral health products Cons: - Price could be a little lower, but the multi-use ability makes up for it - Have to remember to change them out regularly and not flatten them out too much through grinding - Not a long-term solution - need to replace disposable guards versus a custom night guard that can last for years Overall, these disposable night guards do exactly what I need them to in terms of protecting my teeth overnight. I used to wake up with tooth pain and migraines from all the grinding, but these guards have eliminated that. I'm careful to change them frequently so they keep their shape and thickness. For an affordable, short-term solution, I would definitely recommend giving these a try if you grind or clench your teeth at night. Nice concept; Easy to use, especially good for traveling (do not have to mold and individually wrapped). The only downfall is that when placed on the bottom teeth, the plastic rubs the bottom gum and causes irritation. We have been using them, they seem to last forever. Very easy and comfortable, was able to get used to these in a couple of nights I guess. I highly recommend these. We have been using them since an year now I guess. We both have grinding issues at night and dentist recommended to use some sort of night guard. Found these on Amz and loved these. My dental hygienist recommended these for my nighttime teeth grinding. The other products I tried were too large and thick for my small mouth. This product fits well and is easy to use, it is the thinnest protection I've had on my teeth and it appears to be far durable than I thought possible. I've worn it several times and it still strong.     • Too thick, irritates mouth

I like these way better than another kind I tried, which I couldn't use at all, but I don't think they're going to be my permanent solution. I can only wear them for a night or two before the inside of my top lip is so raw and sore I have to sleep without them. I do have extremely sensitive skin. But the little bar in front sticks out a bit instead of laying flat and smooth against my teeth, so it cuts into my top lip while I sleep. And the wedges that fit between my molars are so thick that my mouth feels like it's stuck wide open and I have to kind of suck to keep my mouth closed all night, which is probably where most of the irritation comes from. I can feel deep, sore indents in my top lip in the mornings. I have a small mouth and must just need a smaller, better fitted guard. It also makes my molars a little sore from having to clench so hard to keep my mouth closed, which I worry could cause other problems if I did use this nightly. But it does stay on, and I appreciate both that it can be reused and that I didn't have to heat it and customize its fit. It's very simple and easy to use. So it works in a pinch, when my migraines get bad. It's just not comfortable for me. I also don't understand how people can wear it discretely in public--I can't talk well with it in or close my lips comfortably. I'd like to find one I can wear out on occasion. ... show more

I wanted a simple slim bite plate to prevent my teeth from grinding but not something I had to boil and form to my teeth because those always felt as if they had changed my bite come morning. These provide a slim bite plate at the back of each side of the mouth and do not allow any teeth to touch in the most comfortable way. The mouth piece bite plate is firm but provides a satisfying squishy bounce when you clinch. Exactly what I was hoping to find but better than I even expected. I was just sick of my bulky custom guard from the dentist, and store bought ones are just as bulky, so decided to try these. I agree with other reviews that it is on the smaller side, but it is definitely less bulky. I use it on the bottoms since when used on the top, it keeps on falling and moving. The bite wings are like on my third molar from the back on each side. It does the job of keeping my teeth a distance from each other to prevent clenching and grinding when I am stressed, so can’t complain there.
