This a classic example of “if you know, you know.” And if you don’t know, this filament is, as near as I can tell, almost identical to a much pricier brand. It definitely works just as well as the pricier brand, and I will continue purchasing it.

  • Just like Bambu!
Color: Ash Gray
Picture is of a Bambu refill on the left, MarsWorks on the right…quality is just like it’s more expensive counterpart and prints great with the Bambu PLA Basic profile on my P1S. Quality is fantastic and it comes out as a lighter grey color. Installs into a Bambu spool like any other refill. No tangling and was wound nicely as well. ... show more

  • Not Bad, But Not the Same As Bambu
Color: Ash Gray
There are a couple of things to know about this filament. One, in the description, it mentions several times that it's Pla+ yet inside the box, it's sticker says it's Pla Basic. Seems to print OK, but since Bambu Lab has, as of five minutes ago, 14 different PLA categories (but no PLA+ category) what exactly the + actually means, I don't know. It prints just fine in PLA Basic mode in Bambu Studio, though it 'is' a slightly different color than the Matte Ash Gray from Bambu. I let my AMS go from Bambu's filament to Marswork's filament and there's a noticeable change in color. The box arrived pretty banged up though no bands were broken on the refill. Also no RFID if that's important to you. At roughly the same price as the genuine Bambu filament, and both companies offering periodic discounts and the greater selection of colors, etc from Bambu, I just don't see the advantage of purchasing more Marswork product. Just my opinion, YMMV. ... show more

  • Great filament at an awesome price
Color: Ash Gray
This stuff is great filament and it is identical to Bambu filament refills only difference is the name and labels and no rfid. All I do is take the rfid label from my old Bambu filament and place it in this and it works like a charm, seriously you would think this is Bambu filament if you didn't read the label ... show more

  • Not the greatest
Color: Ash Gray
Filament was not tight on the cardboard when put on the spool and exploded in the CFS during a print ....and actually bent the hard plastic. Do not recommend.

  • Great filament choice
Color: Ash Gray
This filament, minus the lack of RFID tags, is a drop-in replacement for regular Bambu filament. It has the same notch, a nearly identical box, and similar instructions. Honestly, I don’t print in PLA unless I’m making toys or trinkets, so this gave me a chance to have some fun instead of just working on production prints. It was a really enjoyable experience and also gave me an excuse to try out the HANDY app from Bambu for remote printing. Most of my printers are equipped with a 0.6 mm nozzle because of how much faster it prints compared to a 0.4 mm nozzle. One of my printers is set up with a 0.2 mm nozzle for the occasional high-detail parts I make. At first, I was super frustrated with this filament—nothing would stick to the build plate, and it was a nightmare. It turns out the problem wasn’t the filament; it was an ID-10-T error (user error or IDIOT Error). The printer had been sitting unused for about a week, and just enough dust had collected on the bed to affect adhesion. A quick soap-and-water scrub fixed everything, and—poof—I had an Optimus Prime! Then two more, so now I have three. Lesson learned: always clean your print bed. Once I fixed the bed issue, the filament printed beautifully. I was surprised at how well the details turned out, even using a 0.6 mm nozzle with a 0.4 mm profile. I also printed a small shrimp and four llamas with flexible legs (unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures), but the pencil holder came out great. It was my first print using fuzzy skin mode (it came pre-configured that way from the website). Initially, I didn’t realize it was fuzzy skin—I thought the filament was acting weird until I noticed the handle looked fine. So, yeah, my first fuzzy skin print was a success! Overall, I think this filament is a solid replacement for standard PLA. It’s available in more colors, though I wish they had a dedicated website. The packaging was secure, and the shipping was quick. ... show more

  • Great results using Bambu filament settings and spools
Color: Ash Gray
I was a bit apprehensive at first using the Bambu settings for an unknown filament brand, but I will admit I was very surprised and happy with the results. This filament had great flow rate and was bubble and string free. It was wound nicely on the cardboard spools and had no need to be dried before use. Adhesion was fantastic on first layer, and the space savings I got from the size of this refill is always welcome. My prints came out looking great and looked just as good as if I had used Bambu branded. I think this will be my new go to for my main colors, I just wish they would start releasing more options to save me space and money. ... show more

  • Great replacement, fits on Bambu spools
Color: Ash Gray
I buy a lot of 3D printer filament, and this filament impressed me. I'm pretty sure this is Bambu filament that was relabeled. The packaging, the box, even the vacuum sealed plastic is identical to what I've gotten from Bambu labs. Getting this filament onto a Bambu spool is exactly the same process you'd use with their filament which is to put it on the spool, then cut the tape tabs. The filament prints great and had no issues with winding. I always put fresh filament into my filament dryer before use. I had no issues with stringing, blobs, or anything else. It prints like PLA Basic. I used the Bambu PLA Basic print profile and it worked like a charm. This is a great alternative to Bambu filament, and I can get it much faster. ... show more
