This is a compact, perforated aluminum peel that has a clever handle folding mechanism. It’s great for my small kitchen, and for the size pizzas I like to make. If you have an electric home pizza oven or other countertop oven, this peel will most likely fit them, so don’t be put off by its smaller size. I’ve seen reviews for other folding peels where buyers have lost the small parts that are needed to affix the handle to the rest of the peel, and those experiences almost put me off buying a folding peel entirely. This peel solves that problem. The peel feels solid in my hands, and the weight feels just right (not too heavy, not too lightweight).     • So far, I love this pizza peel and the foldable handle that requires less storage space.
I bought this pizza peel for my new Ninja outdoor oven, and it works great for retrieval of the pizza once it is done. Admittedly, I have not yet tried this peel for launching a pizza onto the stone as I have a pizza slide that works effortlessly. What I love about this pizza peel is: 1) The handle folds for storage which requires 1/2 the storage space of other pizza peels I have. 2) The bolt used to secure the handle is plenty strong to hold the weight of any pizza you could put on it, and it also secures the handle in the folded position. 3) This pizza peel easily holds a 12" pizza or enough leftover pizza for 2 people. 4) The aluminum peel will not warp, crack, or dry out as wood ones sometimes do. This is a real innovative idea. Pizza peels have to be long and usually take up lots of space, but this one folds. As a peel, it worked fine. It was a bit large for my small oven and was hard to turn the pizza because it was square and the size of the oven space. Feels very solid in the handle and the flat surface is nice and thin. But it didn't arrive until after my outdoor pizza oven, so I used my old bamboo thin cutting board to sling the uncooked pizzas. That worked so well that I returned this one when it arrived.
