I have been using the PITAKA Magnetic Car Mount for iPhone for a few days now and I am very impressed with its performance and design. It is a MagSafe compatible car mount that securely attaches my iPhone 13 Pro to the vent or the dashboard of my car. It also offers up to 15W wireless charging for my phone, which is very convenient and fast. The car mount is made of aramid fiber and zinc alloy, which gives it a sleek and premium look. It also has a 360-degree ball joint that allows me to adjust the angle and orientation of my phone according to my preference. The magnetism is very strong and stable, even on bumpy roads or sudden brakes. My phone does not fall off or move around at all. The installation of the car mount was very easy and quick. I just had to plug the USB-C cable into the car charger and attach the car mount to the vent or the suction cup. The suction cup has a reusable adhesive that sticks firmly to the dash. The car mount also comes with a metal ring that can be attached to the back of any phone case to make it compatible with the magnet. The vent mounting system is horrible! No matter what I do it will not fit tight against the vent. When it is almost tight it breaks free and just loosens up. This thing will NOT stay mounted against the vent. I initiated a return and replacement to see if maybe my mounting system is defective. I will update again if the issue is resolved, otherwise I would NOT purchase this mount, or any vent mount period. The charger is nice and works well. The magnet is also strong. Any magnetic connection issues will be with the phone case and not this charger. I would purchase again if needed. ... show more

Just got this the other day, and it's working as advertised! Very solid magnetic grip on my Pitaka iPhone 13 Pro case. The vent mounting system is pretty clever too, a definite leg up in quality over the last mount I had (not a Pitaka). It allows you to tighten the mount grip on the vent AND separately tighten the ball-joint that positions your phone. It *does* stand the phone a bit farther off the dashboard than I expected (2-3 inches?), but that's minor. The quality of materials feels really nice too. I had a Pitaka case on my last iPhone for years, and it took the hits and looked great, never showing its age. This mount is a really nice compliment and matches aesthetically perfectly. Worth noting: this new car mount (new as of Oct 2021) is made for the sole compatibility for the MagEZ Case 2 and New MagEZ Case Pro for iPhone 13. I got my case right after the 13 was launched and bought the older Pitaka mount, which didn't work at all. Pitaka hadn't updated all their compatibility information at that point, or made it clear that a new mount was needed and coming soon, hence I bought the wrong one and had to return it. This is easily my favorite car charger. It keeps my phone charging even while using GPS and it's magnetic grip holds it firmly in place. I drive through some very bumpy roads, but it holds on like a champ. The things that drew me to this product were the design and the fact that it had cooling fans and a universal size ball mount. I did not plan to use the vent or dash mounts that come with it because I had a mounting bracket from ProClips. I purchased a universal ball mount adaptor from Amazon that is working perfectly. I also have a Pixel 7 Pro with a Carbon Fiber case and a Sinjimoru M-Plate Universal Magnet Sticker that makes the attraction very strong. I am confident the phone will never fall off. So far it charges great and I have not experienced any heat problems. I really love this setup. ... show more

A great little mount that has a strong magnet for MagSafe cases. Actually my wife doesn’t even have a MagSafe case as far as I know, and I tried her phone on it and it sticks just fine. Therefore, I totally recommend this. I will say that the adhesive on the suction cup is very minimal. But just find a good flat surface and give it a good push down as you’re locking it in place. ... show more

It doesn't fast charge my S22 Ultra their proprietary magsafe case, but the magnets are amazing. Other than that, the cooling fans do no turn on at all so that's a bust. You'd expect a fast wireless charger to come with its own car light charger and cable ties that can start a little bit of heat in the car, but the ones they've supplied with the charger are weak to 25C apparently. At least it serves as a good stand for the phone, if it doesn't charge it fast.. ... show more
