So far it performs all functions perfectly. Bluetooth connection is super from phone. This model requires a phone connection to the included usb cable to use android auto. Just talk into the included external microphone and it will set up the trip map that you need. The unit has sound quality expectable from Pioneer. Radio tuner works just fine. I installed this onto my car mainly so I could use a back-up camera, and it's great for that purpose. Now I will say, that I skimmed over the description and only realized after I installed it that it only supports *wired* carplay, but I bought an aftermarket product to fix that issue. Nevertheless, this head-unit *does* support Bluetooth audio, so I don't understand the need for the wired connection. But other than that, and there being a delay when using the touchscreen (minor, but noticeable), this head-unit is great. ... show more

Replaced a stock radio in a 2008 Chevy Silverado pickup. Works great!! We had already replaced it with an off-brand before this one, so a dash kit/face plate adaptor is necessary if changing from stock radio.

This is a great replacement or upgrade system. I only returned it because my older model wasn’t busted, I found that it only blew a fuse. This one was an easy plug and play installation. I had to buy a model to allow it to hook up to my steering wheel controls. It would be great if you could do it directly from this head unit. ... show more

    • Sound quality
I’ve had a pioneer before and this is just as good. Easy to install with the right kit I bought mine from crutchfield. It’s an upgrade from my previous one sir the sound quality is way better. I just wish it had wireless CarPlay without paying more for it. Love the product overall.
