This radio is a great radio when it works. I’ve had luck when buying it new. It seams to only last about 2 years for every day use in a black car in the Texas heat. It’s very easy to use and install and the 5v pre-out sends great power to the amps. But if you plan on buying the refurbished radios please don’t waste your time. They all only last a few hours and then stop working. The fuse in the back of the radio is still good so I’m not sure how these broken radios have slipped through their quality control. I have bought 7 of these radios in the past 3 years and I have only gotten one to work past the warranty cutoff. Again this is an excellent radio if you buy it new but I would steer clear from the refurbished models. ... show more

We bought a renewed unit. Works great, does everything it is supposed to do. Combined with a set of Pioneer speakers, the sound is great. Be aware, you must use a premium name brand USB cable in order for the Apple Car Play and Android Auto applications to be functional.

    • Don't buy this! it will stop working right after 90 day warranty.
Why is it that refurbished products always only seem to work right up to there tiny little day warranty! So no help, no warranty, and no service other than to pay half of the price of the unit and have it sent in to see about getting repaired, which will cost you more because they wont cover whatever is wrong, so your just screwed!!! ... show more
