I am new to wearing glasses, so I tried out about 6 different brands and styles. I seem to enjoy wearing these the most, and I lose my glasses like crazy, so this is the set I am reordering. My eyes aren’t too bad, so I like to use the 1.25. This helps my transition from looking at the computer screen to a paper on my desk and back. I find that wearing cheaters (without the bifocal) is easier for me to read with if I know I am going to sit down with a book for a long period of time, but if I am going to need to move around or look around much then those are too disorienting. I'm a huge fan of progressive glasses. I spend my days working at a computer screen, and need to have the ability to quickly switch from reading a computer screen, to updating a paper document, to conversing with others. And these progressive readers do exactly that. As I have aged (I'm in my 60s), I have upped my prescription a bit, but I've come back to this brand because they're the best bang for the buck. If I had only one reason to detract from making it a five-star recommendation, it would be because the hinges do tend to get out of line, and it's a pretty fragile assembly. When they fail, they always fail right around there and the in the nylon thread/wire that that holds the lenses in place. But given that they are low profile and do not have full frames, this is the price one pays. ... show more

I have been wearing reading glasses for about 20 years. I have always purchased very inexpensive ones and they have been fine from an optical perspective but they bend up like crazy though I admit not treating them very gingerly. I can always bend them back to a useable shape but it can be pretty annoying. These glasses are equally good optically to the ones previously but they are dramatically more structurally sound. No more having to fuss with bending them back in to shape. These are very well made structurally. I can also get them in silver that goes nicely with my aging hair. They are more expensive than ones I purchased for many years but at $24 for three pairs that are an excellent value. Will definitely buy again (if these ever wear out!). 👍 ... show more

These glasses, though relatively inexpensive are truly of excellent quality I compared these to another single pair from View better that are at a much higher price and these were far superior. I couldn’t believe it. These are made of some sort of acrylic plastic whereas the View better was crystal stone but I actually saw much better out of these glasses and considering that I got three pair for $23 it’s a real bargain. ... show more
