This is not a true winter jacket, at least not for the winters in my part of the country. But it's a great choice for crisp fall temps or mild winter days. Pockets are roomy, zipper is strong and I appreciate the adjustable toggle cords at the hem to keep out cold breezes. Size chart seems accurate. I am typically a medium with long arms and the medium fits fine over a base layer or long-sleeve t-shirt, although there isn't much room for thicker layers. I tried size large but it was huge on me, especially through the chest. The blue green is a very pretty color; almost a deep turquoise.

Fits like I custom ordered it! I was a swimmer for about 2 decades, broad shoulders, slimmer center... I like that the coat body is not a perfect square shape. the coat echos that! It came in a rectangle pouch, but has another to pack into. Straight out of the rectangle pouch, the coat had a little more substance / oomph / stuffing than others Ive tried. So it fit, and felt like it might actually be warming! Zippered pockets. And even the little cloth flap at the top of the coat zipper, so it doesnt poke your chin. A little shiney, but not like a trash bag. I was entertained by the no-static tag... when I put it on the ground to take photos, every dog hair, fuzz, dust bunny and people hair stuck to it... ill put a dryer sheet in the pocket like Ive done for years, that should help. It's a keeper.

This jacket is good quality and I like the navy blue color however it is not warm enough to be outside for long periods of time in the winter. It would be a good jacket for going in and out of stores as it lightweight and you would not get overheated.

I have worn out both Northface and Patagonia puffers after two seasons. It wasn't hard despite the high price points. Bad pockets, soaked in the slightest rain and holes galore on wear points. This jacket is wonderful. Warm, great pockets and exactly as described. New, so can't attest to the durability, but it seems to be high quality. Many reviews said it ran small. I am 5 8, 140 with a 36 inch chest and broad shoulders. I ordered the large. Was way too big, the medium was perfect even with mid sized layering underneath. Huge value!
